Hi!
I will be flying from NY to Richmond, but I will be getting to NY by train (NY Penn Station) Which is the best way to get to the airport? (Im travelling with 3 suitcases)Thks in adv.

Taxi is flat rate $45+tolls+tip. NYAS express bus from Penn Station to JFK is $15. You can take the E subway or LIRR to Jamaica and Airtrain from there to terminals but it would be tough with 3 suitcases!

How do I get to 79th St subway station and how long does it take from JFK with my big suitcase?

Take Airtrain to Howard Beach Station and then Manhattan bound A train to Columbus Circle; there transfer to uptown bound subway line 1 and get off at 79th street stop. Traveling with big suitcase on the subway can be a bit uncomfortable. It will take you ~1:15 - 1:30 hrs to get there.

How long might it take to take AirTrain from Terminal 3 (domestic flight) to Int'l flight departing from Terminal 4 (seems AirTrain goes the other way)? Also, same for return coming off Int'l flight at Terminal 4 and departing domestic flight at Terminal 7?

From T3 to T4 take Airtrain on track 1; from T4 to T3 take Airtrain on track 2; In either case you have to get off next stop and the travel time is less than a minute.

Hi

I am getting in to JFK at 0600hrs on Air India flt from Delhi. At 0825hrs I have connection on American airlines flt to DC. I have 2 and half hours to clear immigrations, customs and transfer from terminal 4 to terminal 8. How do I do this and which is the best way to transfer between terminals. Also is there away to get my baggage from Terminal 4 to 8 or would I have to take it with me on a luggage trolley? I will be having three bags.

To transfer use Airtrain on the third floor of T4, on any track - T8 is three stops away.
Transfer the luggage at Air India connecting flights counter at T4.

Hello, I'm travelling tomorrow from JFK to Valencia, Spain. I have to check-in at the Terminal 3 and then go to gate B20 (Terminal 4). Do I have to take the Airline Terminal route in clockwise direction or can I take the Howard Beach route in counterclockwise direction and stop in Terminal 4? Do I have to pay if I take the Howard Beach route in Terminal 3 and stop in Terminal 4?

Thank you!

Hi, I will need to get from JFK to Katonah Ave in the Bronx. Does anyone know which trains to take??

By subway take Airtrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to the E subway to 42nd St., transfer to the Bronx-bound #2 subway and get off at 233rd St. Walk west on 233rd St. to Katonah Ave. and turn right.

Hi. If someone could just check this.

Arrive lunchtime JFK Terminal 4. Need to get to West 85th Street/West End Avenue using public transport.

So I thought: Airtrain (Track 1) to Howard Beach. Get on the A to Columbus Circle then transfer to the 1 uptown, get off at 86th street then walk. All Good? Thanks.

Hi, I need to get from JFK to Varet Street in Brooklyn - closest subway stop is Morgan Avenue on L train. Would like to travel by train/subway. Thank you.

Take Airtrain from terminal to Howard Beach Station. Take the A subway to Broadway Junction and transfer there to the Manhattan-bound L subway to Morgan Ave.

I will be flying into JFK @ 5:30pm on a Monday. I need to reach 2178 Broadway, New York, NY 10024. I would greatly appreciate any advice on the best most cost effective way to travel there. Thank you.
