Since she arrives international you won't be permitted inside customs/immigration/baggage claim area. International arrivals area at T8 is as close as you can get in that case. Expect 30-40 min for the passenger to come out.

Hi, I'm taking a flight out of Terminal 4. Does Terminal 4 have any Chase or Citibank ATMs?

Terminal 5(second floor) is the only place that you can find Chase ATM. Citibank has a branch outside the airport as well(first exit on Van Wyck Expwy).
connecting flight
Hi i wonder if someone can help, i fly into jfk on the 6/10/10 at 14.10 from Dublin with Air France not sure what terminal, I have a connecting fight to Syracuse at 16.45 termial 5. My luggge should be booked through to syr,i know i have to pick up my lugage up after immigration , is there a drop of point for connecting luggage and how do i get to terminal 5 for my connecting flight cheers.
If you are flying on Jet
If you are flying on Jet Blue to SYR then you won't be able to transfer your bags at the connecting flights counter since Jet Blue does not have baggage transfer agreement with most of the airlines at JFK.
In that case you have to take your bags with you to Terminal 5 and check them in there.

If it's Dublin Ireland your flying from then it might be on a Delta DL165 with whom AF code share.If this is the case then you should clear US customs and immigration at Dublin. Your airline should be able to give you the up-date info, phone numbers for Dublin Airport are, Air France (353)01 6050383. Delta 1850882031. By the way that Delta flight lands at JFK at 1500hrs.

hii everyone..i am an Indian having a valid indian passport...presently i am living in the United Kingdom studying at an university in London.my gf stays in newyork and its been a year i have met her.we both planned to go back to india and i wanted to take a flight from london to JFK to meet her over there, take a connecting flight from jfk so that me and my gf can travel together back to india.my query is that do i require any visa to enter JFK since i am only a transit passenger and i would stay in the airport for only 4 to 5 hours to catch my next connecting flight to India...pls pls help me with this...

If you have only Indian passport, you will need a US visa even you " would stay in the airport for only 4 to 5 hours to catch my next connecting flight to India..".

Take Airtrain to Jamaica Station and then subway Z. Get off at the last stop - Broad Street. It takes around 1:30 hrs.

I will be arriving JFK Terminal 7 at 1.10pm and catching a connecting flight to Atlanta in Terminal 3 at 4.35pm.
I am a freshman and will be coming into US with a student visa.
Is there enough time for me to processed my entry into USA and catch the next flight out?
How do I get to Terminal 3 from Terminal 7 and is it easy for me to move around with 2 luggages and a carry-on bag?
Do I need to prepare coins for the use of a trolley?

Your time frame is enough.
Your time frame is enough. You will need to get Airtrain across the street from T7, on track 2, to Terminal 3. To get a baggage cart you will need either a credit card or paper bills - the charge is $5.
Baggage carts are allowed on the Airtrain.

Go to the second floor of T8, follow the signs for the Airtrain and take it on track 2. T4 is three stops away(~4 mins free ride)

transit visa for JFK
hi, I am a tourist and currently here in Jordan. I'm planning to go to Haiti next month. but when i looked at the flights, all have atleast 2 stop overs. I am wondering if i need a transit visa for Amsterdam, JFK, NY, GA.. I am not a US passport holder. I am Asian by the way. please help.. thanks
