I would be using the JFK Long-term Parking but I have 2 big luggages. Do you have luggage cart to use to get in the airtrain? or shall I park first in the short-term parking lot where I could just cross the street to go inside the airport, check-in my luggages and then go to the long-term parking to park my car?
Thanks!

Hi there, Im flying in on AA which is terminal 8. Is the baggage claim for that terminal in terminal 8? Im also getting picked up can the guests meet me in baggage claim or when Im getting off the plane.I have never been to JFK so any help will be appreciated.

I need to get to Brookhaven National Lab from JFK. I'll be arriving late Monday night, probably. Any ideas?

You may want to arrange for shuttle transportation at the Ground Transportation counter when you arrive. You can also take LIRR from Jamaica (take Airtrain from terminal to Jamaica Station) to Mastic-Shirley which is the closest station to BNL, or to Patchogue or Ronkonkoma (more frequent train service to those stations than Mastic-Shirley) and take local transportation from there. Check with LIRR for schedules and fares.

hi, my mom will be here on saturday...i want to pick her up by using subway...can anyobody tell me how to get to jfk from chinatown?? and im assuming it'll be the same on my way back, right??
thanks so much...

Take the Airtran to Howard Beach then take the A to 42nd Steet Port Authority then transfer to the N or Q train to Canal Street.

The J from Jamaica/JFK stops at Canal and Centre St., no need to go all the way up to 42nd St. on the A and then transfer to go back downtown.

Catch the J subway at Canal St. (at Centre St.) and take that to Sutphin Blvd/JFK station. Walk to the Airtrain and take that to all terminals. Same for the return trip. Airtrain fare is $5 and you can use your regular Metrocard.

Hello!

I am hoping to travel to the USA very soon (this month) with three children, ages six, seven, and nine. I am a US citizen, and have both UK and US passports. I believe that my children are eligible for US citizenship, but I have not applied and have not registered their births in the USA. I do not have time to get US passports for them before we leave, if they are eligible. If I arrive travelling on my US passport, and my children all have UK passports, will we be admitted to the USA? We are all resident in the UK, and we would like to visit for a week to visit relatives.

Thanks, in advance, for your reply!

Read about ESTA(and apply for it) in the following web site:
https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/

Just make sure that your kids passports all have an esta(visa waver programme). To avoid confusion would you consider travelling on you Uk passport this time,to avoid any confusion. A quick phone call to the US embassey (visa section) would quickly get you all the info you need.

does anyone know how long the visa processing takes?

I have an 8:00 flight tonight and will be driving from upper east side manhattan. How early should I leave to get there in time? Will I have traffic delays? Is 5:30 early enough? It is not an international flight.

Expect it will take you at least one hour (maybe more) to get to JFK during rush hour. I'd get there by 6:30 at the latest for a domestic flight as you never know how busy security will be at that time.

Our daughter is arriving from England into Terminal 8. Where should we meet her. At baggage claim or is baggage claim before customs. Meeting an international arrival for the first time. Her flight arrives approximately 2:30pm. Will we be waiting long if we arrived at 2:30? Thanks
