Flying to JFK from Buffalo you will not have to deal with customs/immig. Airtrain/subway will cost $7.25; take Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station and then E subway to 50th St. Transfer to the uptown C subway one stop to 59th St. The M57 or M31 bus runs on 57th St. and you can take these buses to West End Ave. which is a block from 12th Ave. The cruise terminal is at 55th St. and 12th Ave. Travel time from JFK is about 1-1/2 hours. Taxi will take you direct for a flat rate of $45+tolls+tip.

Hi, is it possible to get from terminal 8 to terminal 1 on foot? Or is it better to take the train?
Thanks

Impossible - there is highway in between those two terminals. Use Airtrain which will take you 7-8 min to get from T8 to T1.

Hello,

I arrive from Athens to terminal 3 at 3:09pm and have to catch the Jet Blue flight to Portland, Maine at 7:19pm!!

First of all, how do I get there and how often does transport run between these two terminals and
Secondly do I have time to get through immigration?

Thanks for the response,
k,

You will have time to clear customs and immigration when you arrive at terminal 3, should take 30-45 minutes. You will then proceed to the Airtrain and take any train on track 1 two stops to terminal 5 for Jet Blue, trains run every 5-10 minutes.

Could you please let me know how long it takes to get from JFK to Penn Station? I arrive at 3pm on a Thursday and hope to clear customs and baggage by 4pm. Will I be able to catch the 4.30pm train to Washington DC?

Probably not. It takes 45 minutes to 1 hour on the NYAS express bus from terminal to Penn Station, about the same by LIRR and longer on the E subway. It takes about 15 minutes on the Airtrain to Jamaica Station and then about 20 minutes on LIRR, trains run frequently from Jamaica to Penn Station. I'd change your train to DC from 4:34 to the next available departure at 5:39.

I will be arriving at Grand Central and need to know how to get out to JFK taking the subway as easy as explanation as possible please. Thanks

you can take the 7 train to Times Square 42nd Street. Transfer to the A train to Howard Beach JFK then take the airtran to JFK airport.

From Grand Central take the uptown #6 subway to 51st St. Transfer there to the Jamaica-bound E subway and get off at Sutphin Blvd./JFK. Follow signs for Airtrain and take Airtrain to your terminal. Airtrain fare is $5 and you can pay with a regular Metrocard.

Arriving into JFK at 1.30pm on 18th August. Please advise on best transport and cost.

Where do you want to go once you arrive at JFK? Knowing this info will help to tell you how to go and how much.

What is the best way to get to Delta international at JFK from Penn Station?
