Hello,
I will arrive from Paris ,Sat 28th August with the flight DL 8654 ( operated by Air France)at 12:45 and my connecting flight to Norfolk at 15:05 has the flight number DL 6743 ( operated by Comair DBA Delta connection).
Do I have to change terminals ? And is it enough time?
Thank you,
Renate

You have plenty of time. You have to transfer from T1 over to T2(where Delta connection or Comair is located at).

Thank you very much and have a nice weekend.
Greetings from Germany,
Renate

Hello,
Could you please give me an advice on planning a connecting flight, I am fearing that time window offered by the agency is too tight.

I am flying into JFK by DL flight from Kiev (KBP) on Sep 11 at 14:30. My next flight is to Chicago at 15:55.

Do you think the 1h25m window is enough to pass all the security checks at international terminal, re-check the luggage, get to another terminal and go through procedure there? OR shall i rebook?

On separate matter, is it allowed to take the camera-tripod to the cabin? Or it better be passed with the main luggage?

Thank you.
SZ

Is your flight to Chicago on Delta as well? In that case you should be fine, because you don't have to go to different terminal.

Thanks. Yes in deed that will be the same terminal

I will be arriving on a Virgin flight from the uk into JFK. I CANNOT use escalators. Will there be an elevator to take me to immigration and/or baggage reclaim?

Yes, there is an elevator at that point - it is on the right hand side as you facing the escalator going down.

I am booked on Delta Flt #8123 from Rome on Sept 5 although Delta indicates that I would be actually on an Alitalia plane. Does this land in terminals 2, 3 or 4 (same as Delta)? Scheduled to land at 2 PM if not late.

I have to make a connecting flight to Atlanta (Delta Flight #61). I realize I go through customs after landing but want to know if I have enough time to make the connecting flight if it lands late. #61 departs at 4:45 PM.

I will be traveling with carry-on bags (no checked bags) which should help speed things up.

If I have to change terminals do I have to go through security (at each terminal) again?

That is actually flight AZ 608, Alitalia, which Delta code-shares with.
The flight lands at Terminal 1. You have to clear security again at Terminal 2(where DL to Atlanta departs).
Your time frame is plenty even Rome flight is late(but no more than 1-1.5 hours). Without checked bags you will spend max 20-25 mins in customs/immigration and another 5 min walk to T2.
If Alitalia gives you the boarding pass to ATL it will make you job even easier - all you have to do is clear security at T2 and head for the gate. At that time T2 has long security lines(30-40 mins wait).

Thanks for the information. I did look up the Alitalia flight on their website and they also confirmed terminal 1 for the landing spot. Delta needs to provide better information such as Alitalia and JFK. This was most helpful and is very much appreciated.

I have a friend and his son that took me 10 months to get from Nigeria and back into the states because lack of money and the thieves over that stole from us when sent through Western Union. Nigeria was to give him 300 back when landed in USA but never recd so had no money when arrived. He only went over there to do work for 3 months.

Now they arrived in New York because they were not sold a ticket to transfer to Baltimore. He has been at the airport for two weeks. I sent him money through money gram and when he went he got robbed and beat up. Went to hospital and now out. The amount was $700. Now he is broke again with no food. I sent him $700 again this week and he had to police officers escort him to the Moneygram location and found the money was picked up already which means when he used the cafe computer someone hacked in just like in Nigeria. The police advised could not do anything about it. Now he is still stranded with no money and is starving. He has had some nice people lend him their lap tops to correspond with me. He has no phone. He has begged for food for his son. Now has a man that helped him and now owes him money. Still no food.

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT CAN BE DONE!!! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME HE HAS VISITED NEW YORK HE LIVES IN TENNESSEE!BUT I AM IN BALTIMORE. HE NEEDS HELP TO GET TO BWI ASAP. I HAVE NO MORE MONEY. HE IS AFRAID OF ME DRIVING TO PICK HIM UP HE SAYS NOT SAFE FOR ME.

This whole story sounds like a SCAM to me...I think your friend is scamming you ! Double check his story which is very suspicious.

hi,I'm worried about my connecting flight..Im arriving to JFK at 8:31 with Jetblue at T5, and I need to catch next flight dept at 11:20 with Emirates at T4. I have less than 3 hours to transit,in this case do I have to pick up my luggage from baggage claim and re-check in at Emirates counter, pass through the security check etc..?
If so,do you think I have enough time to make it??
if someone have an idea please give me some advice.
thank you so much!

You do have plenty of time to do that!
