i will arrive by Emirates flight to JFK at 7:45 AM in terminal 4 and i have connecting flight with Jet blue at 8:57 AM.
what i need to know is :
1- will i be able to make it from terminal 4 from 5 with only hand carry?
2- what’s the fastest way to reach terminal 5 from 4?

At terminal 4 walk upstairs to the 3rd floor for the Airtrain. Take any Airtrain on Track 1 one stop to terminal 5, about a 30 second ride.

Can anyone tell me if it's true that they are checking cars and it is taking two hours to get to the terminal to pick up and/or drop off passangers?

I will have people waiting for me at JFK Terminal 3 arriving from Copenhagen. They will have to wait about 1-2 hrs before I will be able to pick them up.
Where is the best place for me to tell them to wait for me? I am not sure if their cell phones will work here.

Thank you.
I will be picking them up by car

The place where they will be arriving at(Terminal 3,area C) is not accessible by private car. You can tell them to take the elevator to the third floor(departure level). You can pick them up there, following the signs to Terminal 3, departures.

Thank you. That is a very helpful.

My daughter and grandchildren will be flying in from Detroit on their way to Senegal via Delta. They have a 4 hour layover at Kennedy. How can her father and I visit with them during this time?

You can meet them as long as you know which terminal they are arriving at.

I'm not sure who were were answering, but it certainly wasn't me. It would be great if you could answer my actual questions.

I want to wait with them during the layover. I think it's obvious that I need to know which terminal. My questions are: where can we wait together? Are there amenities (restaurants, coffee shops, etc.)outside of the secure areas? Is there any kind is secure area that we can go to(where we would pass through security) so that my daughter and children don't have to pass through security again. If they do have to pass through security again, how much time should we allot?.
I have not been through this experience before so I do kinda need to know everything (except that I need to know which terminal she will arrive at so that I could meet her there)

Hello!
I want to bring a PCP Air rifle to my friend in Europe as a present. What should I do with such luggage? Any special things?
Thank you.

Bring the documentation for the rifle and put it in the check-in bag. Don't forget to let the airline representative know at the moment of the check-in the bag.To be on the safe side contact the airline the day before and ask them if they have any special procedures.

Hello,

My mother is arriving with EK203 at 7:45am and she will be coming to Toronto from JFK with a flight named LAN. The flight leaving JFK at 11:05am--- is there anyway where someone can assist her from the EK Terminal to the LAN flight. The staff at the LAN flight have stated that they need a 48-hour request I did not know about this information. Can anyone help her..or could I get a help desk number, so someone can have someone assist her and take her to the LAN departure desk.

I would very much appreciate it. Thank you

I will be traveling to JFK international in December. I have in the past suffered from airsickness on a flight to Australia from the uk and since then have been very fussy about what I eat around traveling I no longer get air sickness but cannot eat the food provided on the plane in past flights I have tried not eating the whole flight and as my flight from the UK to New York is quite long I have decided it would not be safe for me to go without eating for the duration of the flight I have found out that I am allowed to take my own food from home through security in the UK but I was wondering on my flight returing home if I could take my own food throught US security the food I would be wanting to take through would be along the lines of a cheese sandwich or something that would be completly solid other that the small amount of butter however i could o without butter if needed. thank you :)
