I have a fight comin in @ 8:42 am jet blue and i am lookin for the fastest way to get to 116th &2nd. Last year i took the reg. bus shuttle which was a greyhound bus but it took forever GOOD $$ but took too long , then i took the blueshuttle van ? which wasnt that bad but i am currently lookin for something more faster &/or cheaper & way more convenient. Can someone help pls ?

Taxi and shuttles are always fastest but not cheapest. Cheapest is by AirTrain/subway ($7.25); take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway to Lexington/53rd, transfer to uptown #6 subway to 116th St, walk two blocks east to 2nd Ave.

hello!
what is the easiest / cheapest way to get to staten island or at least to the ferry in manhatan that goes to staten island from jfk? I am traveling with one heavy luggage.
thanks

Taxi is easiest and most direct, $45+tolls+tip. AirTrain/subway is $7.25; take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to inbound E subway to 42nd St, transfer to #1 subway to South Ferry, short walk to ferry terminal.

thanks!

How long does it take for the Airline Terminal route to make a full revolution?

less than 10 minutes.

AGK -
1) USING THE TRAIN OR BUS SYSTEM HOW DO I GET FROM JFK AIRPORT TO THE HYATT PLACE HOTEL IN GARDEN CITY, NY?

2) HOW DO I GET FROM HYATT PLACE HOTEL IN GARDEN CITY, NY TO DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN?

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.

1.)Take Airtrain to Jamaica station and then LIRR train(Hempstead branch) to Garden City.
2.) From Garden City LIRR stop take LIRR train to Jamaica and then either transfer to LIRR train to Penn Station or transfer to Subway E to other points of the city.
Subway is slower but cheaper.

5 adults are due to arrive in JFK on 7 April and would like to know how to get to appartment at west 50 st, New York NY (fares/time etc)

Thanks

1. Airtrain to Jamaica Station and then Subway E to 50th street stop. Total cost - $7.25/passenger; time ~ 1:15 hrs.
2. Private car - go to Ground transportation/Welcome Center desk and ask the people there to show you how to order a private car. The cars can accommodate 5 adults(while the yellow cab can not) and the cost will be around $55-$60 + tip. Usually the car arrives within 10-15 mins and it takes 40-50 mins to get to the destination.
