Not at JFK. You can find a place for exchange US dollars for Egyptian pounds in the city.

Hello. My sister and I arrive into JFK on separate flights in different terminals. I arrive into terminal 4 at 16:00 and her flight lands in terminal 8 half an hour later. We want to get a cab in to NYC together.
Is there any way I can meet her before going thru passport control or do both of us have to go thru passport control and meet after? If so, what is the best way for us to meet up?

Thanks

Hi. I am flying Delta from burlington with a 1hour 25min. layover and need to catch a flight by China Airlines connecting to Anchorage. Could you please tell me which arrival terminal (from burlington) and the departure one (to Anchorage) are? Is 1hour 25min. enough time? How could I get to the departure terminal? Thanks

Delta domestic usually arrives at terminal 2/3. China Airlines is normally at terminal 1. You can take AirTrain on track 2 one stop from T2/3 to T1.

Actually I'm flying to Taipei, Taiwan from JFK after arriving from Burlington. Is 1hr 25min enough time so that I can board the plane to Taipei? Thanks.

You should be in good shape.

Thanks a lot.

Hi,
A colleague of mine arrives at T8 at 13:40 and I arrive at 14:00 at T4. Assuming both our flights are on schedule)we planned to share a taxi into Manhattan. How far are the two terminals from each other, where would be a good place to meet?
Not really much of an issue but we both have tight schedules (and budgets!), just wanted a convenient solution.

Appreciate the help, thanks.

you sure you wanna take a cab??? and spend that much dough???:) take a shuttle (air link) instead. it heads to grand central and other parts of the city for just 14 - 19 usd. then u guys take a cab or if you wanna take limo service call narrows car & limousine service based in NYC 718-836-7777
oh , there are air trains every 10 min. that lifts you to diff. terminals in jfk airport by the way, so make your friend meet you up in your terminal.i hope i was able to help:) good luck!

You can meet at T8(take Airtrain on the third floor of T4, on any track - and you will be at T8 in 3 mins.)
and take a cab from there.

Thanks both of you'l.
We're actually heading straight towards Rockefeller center, heard its a $45 flat fare. since there are two of us, we'd be splitting it, which brings it alot closer to the $15-$19 fare mimay mentioned.
Unless the $45 flat fare is a sham and its really something like 80 including tips and tolls? is it ?

$45+tolls+tip, but be sure to ONLY take the NYC yellow cabs located outside the terminal at Ground Transportation. Don't accept any other offers from anyone who approaches you as they will rip you off!!

Hi, my boss is arriving into JFK on Nov 12 at 2:34pm into Terminal 7. His connecting flight to Europe departs at 5:40pm from Terminal 4. Please can you recommend the procedures for transferring from/to each terminal? Thank you.

He has to go across the street from T7 and upstairs where he can take Airtrain on track 2. Terminal 4 is two stops away(~2min ride).
