JFK International Airport AirTrain
AirTrain JFK is the train service that operates between JFK
International Airport, Long Island Rail Road trains and New York City Subway.
It also serves as an on-airport service connecting the airline terminals, rental
car facilities, hotel shuttles, and airport parking lots.
Air Train JFK has
3 routes:
- Howard Beach route
The Howard Beach route ends at the Howard Beach-JFK subway station. It stops
at Lefferts Boulevard (connecting transit services - B15 bus) for shuttle buses
to long term parking lots A and B and to airport employee parking.
Connecting transit services: A subway train, Q11 bus
- Jamaica Station route
The Jamaica route ends at Jamaica Station on the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR)
next to the Sutphin Boulevard/Archer Avenue-JFK subway station (to Brooklyn
and Manhattan or Queens).
Connecting transit services: E, J and Z subway
trains, Q6, Q8, Q9, Q20A, Q20B, Q25/Q34, Q30, Q31, Q40, Q43, Q44, Q60 and
Q65 buses
Both routes make a counterclockwise loop through the airport and stop at each
terminal.
- Airline Terminal route
The Airline Terminal route connects 6 terminal stations (Terminal 1, 2-3,
4, 5-6, 7 and 8-9). Route operates in the opposite direction, making a clockwise
loop.
All JFK AirTrain stations are wheelchair accessible. Howard Beach subway and
Jamaica Long Island Railroad stations are wheelchair accessible too.

- Rides between all other JFK AirTrain stations are free

You can inquire about shuttle services to Rye at Ground Transportation. By train you can take the MTA-Metro North/New Haven line train from Grand Central Station to Rye and local transportation from there to hotel. NYAS express bus to Grand Central is also located at Ground Transportation. Or by subway take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway to Lexington/53rd St, transfer to the downtown #6 subway to 42nd St/Grand Central.

I will be arriving at JFK via AA on December 12th at 10:40pm and need to go to NJ, 2600 TONNELLE AVENUENORTH BERGEN, NUEVA JERSEY 07047 . Public transportation (underground) seems like the cheapest for the long ride. I will be carrying a small luggage.

Could someone please tell me which line to take from JFK and where to connect. We need to go to The Best Western Convention Centre.

Take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to inbound E subway to 42nd St, walk south on 8th Ave to 38th St and turn right, hotel is between 10th & 11th Aves.

Take the air train then
Take the air train then connect to the E train...take E train and then get off at 42nd street...on the same blue line take the A uptown to GWB/Port Authority Stop (which is at 181st and then get off and walk up starts to take the bus (NJ Transit) over the bridge to Englewood...
There are a couple that go to different place, the one you probably want is the one that goes to the monument on Palisades Ave

Take AirTrain from terminal
Take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to either LIRR (faster than subway and trains have overhead luggage racks) or E subway to Penn Station, walk to PATH station at 6th Ave/33rd St, take the PATH-Yellow train to Pavonia.
First visit to NY JFK
I'm arriving to JFK Terminal 4, I have 3 and half hours to do my papers pick my luggage and head to terminal 3, is this enugh time? and what is the fastest way to do so?

You should have plenty of time. Go to third floor of T4 and take AirTrain on track 2 one stop to T3.

Boltbus and Megabus depart
Boltbus and Megabus depart from outside Penn Station to DC. You can take the NYAS express bus from all terminals to Penn Station or AirTrain from terminal to JFK and either LIRR or E subway to Penn Station.
