JFK Terminal 4 to Terminal 8
Wondering how much time it takes to go from Terminal 4 to Terminal 8?
I have an international flight arriving Terminal 4 @ 2:15pm and need to catch a connecting flight @ 3:30pm in Terminal 8 (I assume this is the terminal AA flies out of). BTW, I will only have carry-on, so won't need to wait for luggage.
Thanks!
When you exit customs in T4
When you exit customs in T4 go to the third floor to AirTrain and take any train on track 1 to T8, travel time only a few minutes. Hope your arriving flight is on time as your connection time is tight as it is.

from JFK to Jersey City
Hi
Can anyone recommend the best (least transfers) way to get from JFK to Jersey City? Arriving about 6pm on 5th December.
Thanks
Taxi will take you direct
Taxi will take you direct but could cost $80 or more. The PATH-Yellow/Blue Line train ($1.75) from 6th Ave/33rd St near Penn Station stops at Journal Square in Jersey City (via Hoboken on weekends). To Penn Station from terminals; NYAS express bus ($15) or AirTrain to Jamaica Station ($5) and transfer to LIRR ($3.50 "City Ticket" on weekends) to Penn Station. Exit to 7th Ave and walk one block to the PATH station at 6th Ave.

There are always cabs around but if you have a problem getting one; walk to the E subway station at 5th Ave/53rd St and take the Jamaica-bound E to Sutphin/JFK and transfer to AirTrain to all terminals, travel time about one hour.

Getting from T8 to Lexington and 47th
Hi,
We're arriving JFK on Dec 10 via AA at around 3pm. What's the best way to get to Lexington and 47th - we'd prefer to use the train, but if there are too many transfers involved, then how much would a cab come to ($55 is my estimate with tips and taxes?)
We'll also need to get from Lexington and 47th to JFK (need to arrive JFK at 8pm) on the night of the 12th (Sunday).
Getting the timing right is important, would the trains be reliable and how much in advance should we leave?
Thanks in advance.
Take AirTrain from your
Take AirTrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway to Lexington/53rd St and you can walk down Lexington to 47th St, they're short blocks. Same route going back. Subways run frequently, travel time about one hour. Your taxi estimate is close; $45 flat fare+tolls+tip.
LTP and Air Tran hours
I have a 6am flight this Sunday 11/29 Jet Blue. Is long term parking and Air Tran available at all hours? Just look for Air Tran signs in lot and I'm good to go right?
