You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:
Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.
Parking rates
$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours
Daily JFK Airport Parking
Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9
Parking rates
$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period
How crowded?
Can someone comment on whether JFK's long term parking lot ever gets filled to capacity? Or is it very large, and rarely completely full? We're flying overseas on July 2nd, and want to leave our car there for 3 weeks. The rates are surprisingly cheap!

JFK Long term parking
The many times I have been there it always had spots open. Ther are also manu private company parking lots that you can reserve space in.

Double billed for parking
I was paying my parking ticket this morning from Terminal 6 parking lane 245 at 9:21 this morning. The attendant processed my credit card and then told me it didnt go thru and asked for $36 in cash. I just checked with my bank and $36 was actually processed. How do I get refunded?

What is actual price for a day of long-term parking?
how do you get back to Terminal 4? How long does it take? do you have to pay for that extra? Thank you

$15 a day for long term.
$15 a day for long term. From there you can take the Airbus to Termnial 4 for free. Takes maybe 10-15 minutes.
Handicapped Parking
Can I park in the short term lot and still get the handicapped discount? I will be gone for 3 days and parking in the long term lot will be difficult for me. I do this at LGA and am wondering if the same policy is available at JFK?
