It is 5x$18=$90. It is safe and you have to take the free Airtrain from Long Term Parking lot over to T5 - it is around 15mins ride.

i need to park in long term parking for 10 days from 1/08-1/18, is there space available and do i need reservation?? which color parking will it be?? is there a shuttle that goes to terminal 4 and long does it take?
Thanks a lot..

There is no need of prior reservation. At this time the long term parking is 30% full. Long term parking lot does not have color(only short term parkings have). You can use Airtrain from there to T4 - it takes around 15 mins.

thanks a lot for the info!!

I left my car in the yellow lot (short term) on 12/23 for what was supposed to be a short trip to florida for xmas weekend. My returm flight was early on 12/27.
I was stranded in Florida because of the storm and could only catch a flight to lga on Jan 1st...
I went straight to jfk to pick up my car after paying a 10 day fee of $330...
Is there any provision in case of a global emergency, like this one, that can help me pay for some of the overcharge?
Thank you.

Sun helped clear snow off cars yesterday. I was parked for ten days at lefferts lot and retrieved my car 12-29 evening. Lanes were all clear. Some snow against the back of cars but easily removed.

retrieved my car from the long term lot on 12/29 evening. Sun had melted the snow off the cars and there was a small amount behind the cars which I fairly easily removed. A small shovel, broom will help but it was not the nightmare I had envisioned. Lots are open and lanes are clear and easily accessible. Frankly, parking lots looked a lot better than the runways.

Are cars in long-term and/or crew parking snowed in at JFK?

Can anybody tell me what is the state of parking at JFK as of Wednesday evening after the storm? Are the long-term lots accessible? How about the daily parking?
Thanks.

I got in at eleven pm to find my car had been Plowed in with snow. All snow on top of the car gone. Immediately a JFK plow was there to help me. He plowed away the snow he could with a huge yellow plow and then dug the rest wIth his bare hands. I offered a tip and he said he didn't need one! What a total angel he was!!! Some cars are plowed in and some are not. Good luck! There are many empty spaces to Park in leffert's field lot.

is there any spaces left in long term parking not occupied by snow or cars. im leaving 12/30 around noon...thanks

Heading in tomorrow am - hoping to park in ST terminal 5. Does anyone know if there is a parking problem? Thanks.

I have a flight out from JFK tomorrow (weds) morning. Wondering if there is long term parking available or if it is covered in snow? I'd be arriving at about 6am. Thanks.

Im a mom parked in long term arriving with my three kids at 9 pm Wednesday night. We don't have winter coats and I didnt count on snow. Anyone have an update on the parking lots and cars covered with snow?

Hi,
I've been parked in long term parking for the past week + and will be coming back home to JFK the morning of the 30th. Will I be able to get to my car? Are all the parked cars snowed in? Do we need to shovel? are there shovels around to dig out if neccesary? what is the situation in the lot. Does anyone know just what the situation is like in lot A at Leffters?
