I was taking pictures of my family in the airport, and I accidentally left my camera somewhere. It is a red Nikon Coolpix in a black case. It looks very similar to the image in the link I have posted below. The pictures are very valuable to me. Please return it if you find it.

hi I was on lufthansa flight 405 on dec 28th going to frankfurt. Flight was supposed to leave 5 pm but didn't leave until 7 am. Now when you arrived terminal 1 was a total mess and the luggages were just standing around everywhere. All of the luggage from this flight was left in ny . Lufthansa couldn't even trace my luggage yet. Does anybody have the same issue? Please lez me know and who can I contact else then lufthansa cause they don't seem to care.

Hey, I have the same issue that you do. Fly from JFK to Moscow on 28th, flight were suppose to leave on 26th. Trying to contact the Aeroflot with no success. I called my travel agent, she told me to contact JFK at lost and found bureau. So if you are planning to go back to NY or have relatives there just ask them to pick it up, cause otherwise it might take you up to two weeks to find out whats going on in Lufthgansa! hope it will help you! happy New Year

Hi, same here, same day. we checked our suitcase on dec 28th, delta flight JFK-Brussels, flight was scheduled for 7pm got canceled at 2am - after sitting on board for an hour. We were promised that all our luggage would be transfered to the next flight - next day, haven´t seen the suitcase ever since. it has been over a week now and nobody seem to care...they can't track it down...apparently european and american systems are not compatible!
we spent most of our vacation time trying to call all possible numbers (really fun to be on hold for 45 min calling internationally)has anyone actually found their luggage at JFK after all this mess?

Hi all,

I left my laptop on Delta flight DL 95 from Barcelona to NYC. it is a white sony vaio laptop. if any one of you have seen it, PLEASE let me know. There are a lot of valuable photos in the laptop.

hi, I lost my bag, is color black with a orange ribbon, im from Guatemala, inside of my bag I have a reebok back pack, two jeans, a bra, a brown jacket, tree t-shirts. I left it in terminal eight, I cant remember if I left in the parking or inside of the terminal. Thanks

My son left his phone in a yellow cab we took at the taxi stand in terminal 8. Any thoughts on how to try to locate it?

Did you get a receipt from the cab driver? That would have the taxi number you can use to contact the driver. Also try calling the phone.

Hi,

I checked my laptop (stupidly) in my suitcase at JFK through Jetblue on Christmas morning. When I arrived to Logan airport, the TSA had removed my laptop, charger, and secure ID code stick which I use to check my work email from home. These items were not returned to my suitcase and now I've been told that the items would have been filed in Jetblue Lost and Found at JFK, who have not received the items, and probably never will because someone in baggage stole them. I'd have to be an idiot to think they would turn up.

Who do I speak to at JFK to take this matter seriously and pursue the issue? They so far have been extremely vague and unhelpful, and I can't even begin to describe the anger and frustration this has caused. I don't have $1,000 for a new computer, and I shouldn't have to because this item was licensed to me and TSA has NO RIGHT to take things out of people's luggage for themselves. I need to get to the bottom of it and I need to know what the best way is to do that.

I had the samething happen to me, TSA decided to borrow some of my jewerley. I called around and I ended up filing a claim with TSA. I was reimbursed.

I lost my carigan at the airport yesterday somewhere around the duty free shopping or in the british airways lounge. The label is witchery and it is a knitted dark olive green cardigan that is quite large.

Hello. My big green suitcase has been stolen from terminal 3 arriving place at JFK on Dec. 20 at 2.45 AM. Inside were videocamera Sony, wearing clothes for male adult and a boy 5 years old, also three birthcertificats on names Maksim Pakhomov and Yana Grishina, driver licence, highschool and university diplomas. I lost my black luuggage (samsonite) on december21 on flight delta 4236. we have call MILLIONS of time to see where is this bag. nobody picks up the phone at all . i hade a connecting flight with qatar 0084 to doha and then damman. we called qatar and they DON'T have the luggage.my seat assignment was 4a. from boston to jfk. it's been 4 days now and i'm at Saudi without bag/clothes/and presents.this has been a true NIGHTMARE.
