Hello! Me and my friend are arriving to JFK on Sunday. My friend arrives to terminal nr 1 and I arrive terminal nr 8. Is it possible that we will meet at luggage claim? Does the luggage come to the same place or do we get our luggage from different places? Where is the best place where we can meet at the airport? Thank You for answering.

Hi, I'm flying with Jetblue
Hi,
I'm flying with Jetblue on Wed. Jan. 12th from Tampa to JFK. I arrive around 12:15. Later that day I have a international connection from JFK to Athens,Greece with Delta.
My question is:
Does Jetblue check my luggages all the way through Athens? or do I have to pick them up and go to check in again with Delta at JFK?
and also,
If I want to get an extra luggage (I know jetblue charges $30), but will I have to pay again for extra luggage with Delta on the international flight?

Jetblue does not have a luggage agreement with Delta so yes you will have to pick up your bags and recheck them at Delta check in counter at JFK Airport.
The answer to this question is yes. Generally airlines charges fee for an extra luggage that you bring.
Passing thru customs at JFK
This may not be the appropriate place for questions but here goes anyway. Are there customs gates in terminal 7? If not where do we go thru customs with our baggage for our Iberia flight to Madrid at 9:05 pm 1/19/11?

As far as your first question is concerned: every terminal has customs upon arrival in the U.S
For your second question: you will be departing from the U.S to Spain so you don`t have to go through U.S customs or immigration for that matter. You will, however, clear security at terminal 7 prior to your departing flight.

I will fly to JFK with Cathay Pacific then will use Delta for domestic transfer to Boston. Can I leave my luggage for transit to the luggage drop off zone after I cleared customs. I will request check-through to Boston in Hong Kong airport. CX and Delta are not in alliance.
