Terminal 4 Facts and Figures
The $1.4 billion T4 opened in May 2001. It is the cornerstone of a $10.3 billion revitalization program currently underway at JFK.
T4 is a model for air terminal technology for the 21st century.
T4 has signed agreements with approximately 50 airlines representing 40 countries, serving U.S. and overseas destinations around the world.
T4 occupies 165 acres, one of the largest properties of any terminal at JFK and is one of the largest air terminals in North America.
T4 was designed with the infrastructure to process between 10 million - 12 million passengers annually.
T4 operates the only facility at JFK's with 24 hour Customs and Border Protection, 365 days per year.
T4 houses the only internal station for AirTrain, JFK's light rail system connecting all JFK terminals, Long Term parking, Car rental and hotel locations, The NYC subway at Howard Beach and the LIRR at Jamaica Station.
T4 is home to 4 religious chapels- Catholic, Protestant, Jewish and Multi-faith, each with a dedicated Chaplain.

Simple. Use air train on track 2 and it should get you to terminal 4 in less than 5 minutes.

After you go though Customs
After you go though Customs and Immigration you will have to recheck your bags and go through security again for your domestic flight.

Hi! I'm arriving at 5:05 pm to JFK from Kiev by Aerosvit airlines to terminal 4 . After I want to take a JET Blue at terminal 5. Whould I be able to make it to a flight by Jet Blue at 6:55 or should i book 8:55? I'll have to pick up luggage and get from terminal 4 to 5. Will I have to go through passport control and customs in JFK on at final destination? Thank you.
When you enter the U.S you
When you enter the U.S you will go through Customs and Immigration. When you arrive at your final destination in the U.S you will not go through Customs or Immigration only when you arrive at the U.S. Your time frame is Ok and you will make your connecting flight as long as your first flight is on time.

I booked a flight from JFK to Paris France for Sept. 2011 but I cannot find any good phone numbers to contact this airline. The one I had 2 weeks ago is now disconnected. The one that is listed at JFK site is a voice message. I need to find out if this is a legitimate airline and still operational.
