Terminal 3(Delta) is no more than 5 mins away via airtrain from T5(Jet Blue).

Does anyone have the direct phone # to the JFK - American Airlines baggage service desk. I am effing sick and tired of the clueless phone droids at the 800#

(718)487-6721 or 6746. Hope it helps.

Hi i was flying from Jfk to Punta Cana DR on 12 february checked my brand new Louis Vuitton duffle bag with all my expensive clothes and whwn i arrived to punta cana in 3 hours they had no idea where bag was i made a claim so 6days passed nobody knows where is it my baggage and clothes was worth 10000$ are jetblue gonna give me all money back? What is the policy?

Arriving on a Tuesday at 5PM @ American Airlines terminal. What's the quickest way to 5th & 88th in NYC please? I'm a former NYer but haven't been in 15 yrs. (will have one roller bag); mid-age female traveling solo. Do I do the Airtrain/subway routine or yellow taxi? Your sage and specific advice please! Graci!!

The quickest way will be taxi at that time(the traffic at that time is in opposite direction). It is more expensive though(flat$45+$5.50toll) and it will take somewhere between 40-45 mins.
Airtrain+subway($7.25 altogether) will get you involved in 2 transfers(at Jamaica Station from Airtrain to subway E and at 53str and Lex to uptown bound 4 or 6). Then you have to get off at Lex/E86 street stop and walk couple of blocks to 5th and E88th. It will take you at least 1hour and 30 mins to get to your final destination. Hope this helps.

I will be arriving from Kuwait via KU-117 to JFK Terminal 4 at 15:15 hrs, and my connection flight is with Americal Airlines AA-4486 which is departing from Terminal 8, according to JFK Maps available on the net.
Could you please advise me the distance between those tow terminals, and how much time I need to catch my AA flight, noting that I would have to stamp my passport for entry into the US, and go through customs.
Thank you.

You will need at least 2 hours time in between the flights(mostly for customs/immigration procedures). T8 is probably 5-10 mins away from T4 via Airtrain.

I'm in New Haven now, and my flight for the next day is at 6 am (UA116). So I am thinking if it is convenient to arrive at night and stay overnight at Terminal 7? Is there a place, such as restaurant or cafe that opens 24 hours?

T7 is closed overnight - instead you can use T4; there is open coffee shop there. Use Airtrain in the morning to go to T7.

I shall be arriving at JFK from europe and going on to Orlando. How much time should I allow for immigration.
Is immigration carried out at JFK or Orlando?

It takes generally between 20mins to 1 hour for immigration/customs procedures. They take place at you first point of entry in US - in your case ,JFK.

Expecting regular package from Mumbai- has been in customs for 6 days- normally in for 3 days or less. Seems things at JFK are getting slower and slower. Can anyone shed some light?
Thanks

Hello,

I'm looking to book a flight to London from Seattle. The flight that I'm looking at shows an 1hr 5min layover/flight change at JFK. Is the amount of time sufficient to catch my flight to London?

Thank you.
