Pet pickup at JFK - Cathay Pacific 846
I am arriving JFK from HKG on May 27 via Cathay Pacific 846. My two cats are traveling as excess baggage. I am trying to figure out where I pick them up. Will they be treated as "oversized" baggage and be delivered to the baggage claim area, where I will take them through the Customs line, or will they clear customs separately in another facility?
I'm going to be juggling multiple bags (moving home from HK to the US), and two large cat kennels, and trying to get a rental minivan, so I'm trying to figure out my logistics. Thanks for all info.

They will clear customs with you. As soon as you get to the baggage belt let one of the CP employees know that you are waiting for the two kernels. Most likely they will be delivered by one of the ramp employees.

Picking up my friend
My friend will arrive at JFK Thursday at 13:25 on China Eastern Air from Shanghai(Pudong)airport. I am going to pick him up. Where should I tell him to wait for me? I want to get as close to him as possible as he has lots of baggage. And, in case we could not find each other at the waiting place, is it convenient that he go to the information desk and wait for me there? Thanks.

I heard that.. JFK airport doesnt allow many things to carry on. I am planning to bring dried herbs from india via JFK airport. Could anyone plz tell me if they allow that stuff in check in bag.. or do they fine me for that? Please help.. Thank u in advance..

I have flight from Frankfurt to JFK & arriving time is 7;40 to terminal 1.I have flight from terminal 3 to Buffalo @ 9;05.Will I have enough time? (1;25 beetwen flights)

I Arrive into JFK by Emirates Flight from Dubai at 14.15 (terminal 4) & have a connection on Jet Blue (Terminal 5) to Boston at 17.40. Will have 1 checked bag. Due to an oversight at time of booking, both my flights are on separate tickets. Please advice what are my chances of making this connection? Am really worried, have an important convention in Boston which will cause me untold trouble if I miss my connection!

Robbery
Today was my flight from JFK to Sheremetyevo (SVO). When i was passing security control my bag was taken by security officer for recheck. In the plane I found out that jewel was disappeared from this bag.
What can I do now? Who can help me?
