Time between connecting flights
If I'm flying from LAX via American Airlines to CDG with a connecting flight at JFK also on American Airlines, would 1hr & 25mins enough time for me to transfer between flights??? If not, how much time do I need??? The AA flights I'm picking from only gave me options of either 1hr 25mins, 1hr 35mins, & 9hrs+mins. I don't really want to wait 9hrs for the next flight. Any suggestions???

If there's no delays from LAX to JFK, there should be no problem, but you shouldn't make any pits stops during change. Ask AA before boarding if you need to pick up your luggage of if they'll take care of it, just to make sure what you need to do once in JFK.

AirTrain is free between terminals, Federal Circle (rental cars, hotel shuttles, cargo) and Lefferts Blvd. (LTP). The $5 fare applies only when you enter/exit at Howard Beach or Jamaica.
Flgiht Question
If we are arriving at 4:05 pm at JFK terminal 7 flying Iberia flight, is there anyway we could make a flight through Delta at 5:25? The flights are booked with separate tickets so we aren't sure if we have to leave the terminal to get our baggage and then go back through, or if we pick them up at customs...

Probably too tight of a connection. You will collect your baggage to clear customs upon arrival at T7 and then proceed via AirTrain on track 2 to T3-Delta and check-in/clear security. It could take anywhere from 30-60 minutes to clear customs, then travel time between terminals, Delta check-in and TSA security.
LT Parking
Will be flying with family in June on JetBlue. Is LT parking safe/convenient, or should I spend the extra $15 per day to park in garage next to JetBlue terminal???

Yes, LT parking is the best
Yes, LT parking is the best and cheapest option. When you enter the airport look for signs for LT parking, near Lefferts Blvd. The Lefferts Blvd. AirTrain station is walking distance from LT parking and will take you to terminals. On your return on AirTrain be sure to take the Howard Beach train as that will stop at Lefferts Blvd.
Luggage check in
Hi,
I am travelling with my family and have 8 bags going from LAX airport to JFK terminal 7 via US airways, then I will take an international flight to Jeddah at terminal 1.
My question is:
How to go from terminal 7 to terminal 1 ?
Do I have to claim my luggage at JFK or they can be checked directly to Saudi Airlines at termincal 1?

At LAX check-in US Airways
At LAX check-in US Airways will tell you if your bags will be checked through to Jeddah. If not you will need to claim them at JFK and re-check with Saudi Airlines. Take AirTrain on track 2 from T7 to T1.
Transit Time
I will be arriving JFK from HKG/YVR by Cathay 888 in July. The plane will reach JFK at 0700. Cathay uses Terminal 7, right? Then, I shall transfer to Delta Airlines onwards to San Diego at 0910. Will there be sufficient time? Thanks
