JFK Airport Parking Information
You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:
Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.
Parking rates
$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours
Daily JFK Airport Parking
Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9
Parking rates
$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period

There's really no definition
There's really no definition other than short term is across from the terminal and long term is on the outer grounds of the airport. You can park in either location for 4 days, the main difference is cost and accessibility to terminals. Short term parking is generally a walk across the roadway to the terminal whereas long term parking requires a trip on AirTrain and then a walk to the parking area.

LTP JFK airport need to go to Delta terminal how far from the lot. FLight to Las Vegas 730am when should we get to JFK and who takes us to Delta
AirTrain takes about 10
AirTrain takes about 10 minutes, get off at Delta T2/3. Arrive LTP around 5:30am, get to the terminal by 6am.
long term parking
We arriving at the airport in a motorhome, departing from terminal 4. Is there a particular long term lot where we could park the motorhome for 1 week while we travel?
RV Employee Parking JFK
I'm a flight attendant based out of JFK. Anybody know if I am allowed to park an RV in employee parking long term and use it there 8 days a month?
How secure is LT parking
How secure is LT parking lot? If something happens to my car who would be responsible for it?
You would generally be
You would generally be responsible. They do have periodic security patrols but that's about it.
JKF Terminal Parking
Does JFK still give discounts to handicap cars with the handicap license plates or blue NYC Hang Tag for the mirror?

Several off site parking lots have discount coupons available online which are cheaper than the daily $18 rate offered at the JFK Long Term Parking lot.
leaving on Jet blue from JFK
leaving on Jet blue from JFK - will park in LT parking and take airtrain to T5. When returning to JFK -does Jet Blue Terminal have signs to get airtrain back to LT parking and is there a specific airtrain to take back to LT parking?
