Absolutely yes. You do have more than enough time to make your connection.It will take you 2 minutes to travel by air train. Go to the 3rd floor and take an air train on track 2.

I'm arriving at JFK T8 from MXP (aa0199)on Monday at 1:15 pm., in transit because my next flight leaves from the same terminal at 3:40 pm for LAX (aa0133)

How do I proceed?
need clear customs or only do transit to new gate departure

You will clear both Customs and Immigration upon arrival at JFK and then you will need to recheck your bags with the second flights career and clear security.

I need some help please.

I'm arriving at JFK T8 from Helsinki on Monday, May 2nd at 3:50 pm. My next flight leaves from the same terminal at 5:20 and I am slightly worried because I'm not familiar with the layout of the terminal and my change time is quite tight.
How do I proceed with immigrations, baggage claim, customs etc. and how much in a hurry will I be? Are there other flights arriving at the T8 around that time?

You will arrive and clear customs, take checked bags to the connecting flights counter after you exit customs, proceed upstairs to departure level to clear security and to departure gate. Yes, your connection is very tight as you will need to allow at least one hour to clear customs and time to clear security.

We are a party of six adults, two teenagers & one infant, we land at JFK April 17th at 12:40 our connecting flight to Orlando is at 15:20 will we have enough time to make the connection , last year we flew to Miami at we were 2.5 hours in immigration, is JFK any better ?

Allow at least one hour for immigration but it can always take more or less time. You should have time.

I am traveling via American to LAS. My flight is at 7am. Does anyone know what time the shops open at Terminal 8, so I can get my children breakfast and milk before we get ont he flight. Is there anywhere to get breakfast. I can't remember what stores are in Terminal 8 after you go through security.

Departing LAX on AA and arriving T8 at 5:10pm. We have a connecting flight with LAN at T4 at 8pm. Is 2 hr. 50 min. layover a good amount of time. Will AA at LAX check our bags straight through to SCL? We have a Business class ticket... and Oasis Lounge agent says to ask LAN counter for invitation to Lounge, that we we have to stop at the LAN counter at T4 to get LAN boarding pass anyway... is this true? Do we also have to go through security?

I called American Airlines and it seems once we use the AirTrain to get from T8 to T4, we must go through security again to get to the LAN gate. Oh, we also must go to the LAN check-in counter to get our LAN boarding passes. If anyone know from experience that the above is wrong, please let me know. Thanks

Hi we are flying on AA117 on 7th April and connecting in LA for our flight to Sydney. AA is a partner airline of qantas and was booked together. My question is if we go through customs/immigration in new York or LA? We weren't sure what time to get to the airport as we didn't know if this counted as domestic or international. Hope you can help. Thanks.
