Hi

I arrive to JFK and I have to take a train to Terrytown, from Grand Central. How can I get to Grand Central by train, which is the cost and the time to expend?

Take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station ($5), transfer to E subway ($2.25) to Lexington/53rd St, transfer to the downtown #6 subway one stop to 42nd St/Grand Central. Fare from Grand Central to Tarrytown is $12 peak/$9 off-peak. Allow about 1 to 1.25 hours travel time from JFK to Grand Central by subway.

Hi, I will be traveling on May 06, 2011, on Delta, arriving at 7:22 am. Which is the cheapest and more convenient way to travel, from JFK airport to Brooklyn(Franklin ave and Bedford ave)not to far from Botanic Gardens? Thank you!

Most convenient is by taxi, fare around $40 on the meter. AirTrain/subway is cheapest at $7.25 but requires a few transfers along the way: take AirTrain from terminal to Howard Beach Station, take A subway to Nostrand Ave, get off and wait for the C subway and take one stop to Franklin Ave, transfer to the "S"-Franklin Ave Shuttle train to Botanic Gardens stop.

Could you please inform me what the steps I have to do getting train transportation from 540, Washington Boulevard - Jersey City, NJ to JFK - I have a flight 10:00AM at 8 terminal (AA 647).
Thanks for your support

Take the PATH train from Newport station to 33rd St. Walk west on 33rd St. one block to Penn Station. Take LIRR to Jamaica, walk upstairs to AirTrain to terminals.

Thanks!

Take the PATH to WTC and pick up the A train to Howard Beach. Take the AirTrain to the airport.
