Thank you once again B2G! The address on Sutter Ave is 57. I read that there was a wreck on the LIRR in the East River Tunnel and that they would be cleaning up the wreckage thru 5/10. Would it be better to ride a subway from Howard Beach to NYC in order to avoid delays or is it not a problem to ride the LIRR?

Your address is three blocks from the stop on the #3 subway at Sutter Ave/Rutland Rd., so take the D from Rockefeller Center, or better yet take the downtown #6 subway from 51st St/Lexington Ave (one block from Madison Ave) one stop to 42nd St and transfer to the Brooklyn-bound #4 or #5, to Atlantic Ave and transfer there to the New Lots Ave-bound #3 to Sutter Ave. You can take the A subway from Howard Beach or the E subway from Jamaica Station in lieu of LIRR to Manhattan as westbound LIRR will terminate at Jamaica until they clear up the mess in the tunnel. The E subway does stop and Lexington/53rd.

when I arrive at JFK at 19:00hrs 14.05 . How do I travel from Jamaica station to Hauppage ? How long does it take?
Is there also a bus shuttle? Starting from where?

regards

Th.Roorda

Take AirTrain on track 1 from your terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to LIRR-Port Jefferson Branch to Smithtown (transfer at Huntington) which is the closest station to Hauppauge. Take local taxi from Smithtown station to your destination. Train from Jamaica runs every 90 minutes on the Saturday evening you arrive, cost is $9 and travel time from Jamaica is about 1.25 hours.
