Terminal 3 to Terminal 4
Hi,
I would be arriving from Richmond via Delta flight #6118 at terminal 3 gate #23. From there I have to go to Terminal 4 to board the Air India flight. My question is, how far would I have to walk on terminal 2 or 3 to get to the air tran. On which floor of terminal 3 an I board it. Also, how long will it take to reach terminal 4. I got to know that gate #23 is a new one. As per the map of the terminal on this site, there is no gate #23 on terminal 3, so is it actually terminal 2 ? Please do let me know the path of reaching terminal 4 from gate #23 of terminal 3 or 2 as the case may be. Thanks in advance.
Gate 23 is T2 in the area
Gate 23 is T2 in the area where the small commuter aircraft, such as the one you will fly from RIC, are located. Follow the signs to AirTrain, take the elevator up to station level and take any train on track 1 one stop to T4.
I do not know which terminal
I do not know which terminal my international Delta flight # DL161 Milan to JfK arrives in. It arrives at 1:55pm. I do know that my connection Delta flight #DL127 from JFK to SFO leaves from terminal 2 at 3:15. Can you tell me if I will be in terminal 2 already? Or how do I get from my arriving gate to terminal 2...Will there be enough time in between
Your flight could arrive at
Your flight could arrive at terminal 3 or terminal 4 at JFK airport. If it does arrive at terminal 3 you will have only walkable distance from terminal 3 to terminal 2 as two terminals are connected together. If your flight arrives at terminal 4 then once you arrive at JFK and clear customs and immigration go to the third floor take any air train on track 2 to terminal 2/3. It should be less than 2 minutes. It will be a tight connection as you will have to clear both immigration and security, however, you do have a chance to make that connection if your international flight is on time and Customs and Immigration isnt too busy at the time of your arrival.

Luggage transfer
Next week I am flying to Jfk on jet blue and from there flying to joberg on SAA. Will they transfer my baggage or will I have to pick it up from Jet blue and check it in with SAA?
Most likely you will have to
Most likely you will have to recheck your bags with SAA since JetBlue and SAA dont have luggage agreement.
