Good evening, I´ll arrieve at JFK airport in july 19th, 6am. Could you please tell me what terminal and how to get the air train to reach Penn Station.

There are AirTrain stations at each terminal, just follow the signs. Take AirTrain on track 1 destination to Jamaica Station and then transfer to LIRR (downstairs) to Penn Station. There are frequent trains to Penn Station at that hour. AirTrain fare is $5 and it will take about 15 minutes from terminal to Jamaica, and LIRR is $8.75 peak time, travel time to Penn Station about 20 minutes. If you don't want to pay the higher LIRR fare you can take E subway ($2.25) to 34th St/Penn Station, travel time about 1 hour. You can purchase all fares at self-service machines at the Jamaica Station AirTrain exit.

First, you can go to the Terminal 4 to get on the air train to leave for Jamaica and walk to Jamaica. Then,it takes about 19 minuts to Penn Station by the train of Long Beach-Penn Station.

Hello, we are due to visit our family next month, we need information on the air train from jfk. We need to get to the station as we are being collected at east Patchogue. What will the cost be for 2 adults in total thanks

AirTrain from terminals to the transit center at Jamaica Station is $5 per person, LIRR fare from Jamaica to Patchogue is $16.25 peak/$11.75 off-peak per person. When you arrive follow the signs in the terminal to the AirTrain station (if you arrive at terminal 4 it's on the third floor) and take the AirTrain on track 1 designated to Jamaica Station.

I coming to JFK with 6 luggaeges and my family, wife and 4 yr old. I have rented a minivan and will leave at the National rental. What should be easier,
1. I do I need to drop my family and luggages at the terminal come and leave the rental and go back to the terminal
or
2. Drop the luggages at rental and get the airtrain to terminal 4...does the airtrain wait till we put 6 luggaes.. pls let me know... or there luggages trolleys at the rental.

Thanks
PAA

I would drop your family and luggage at the terminal, have them wait for you to take the minivan to rental returns and then take AirTrain from the rental returns at Federal Circle back to the terminal. This way you're not lugging your bags on AirTrain.

How much time should I allow for travel from NY Penn Station to JFK via Jamaica Station? This would be at midday on a Thursday.

You could probably make it in 45 minutes by LIRR. It's 20 minutes on LIRR to Jamaica and 15 minutes on AirTrain to terminals. E subway from Penn Station would take over one hour.

I arriving in JFK in 12.35am on 22 May. How can i reach to Norfolk VA or Elizabeth city?

Greyhound bus departs from Port Authority Bus Terminal to Norfolk at 3:45am with a transfer in Richmond, arriving in Norfolk at 2:45pm. The only bus from Norfolk to Elizabeth City departs daily at 8am. Amtrak has train service from Penn Station to Newport News departing at 3am and arriving at 12noon with a bus bridge from there to Norfolk and Va Beach bus terminals. Check out their websites for schedules and fares. NYAirports bus leaves from terminals for both PABT and Penn Station every 30 minutes but only run from 7am to 10pm. Both are also reachable by AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station and then E subway (both AirTrain and subway run 24/7) or direct by taxi. At that late hour I'd take a taxi as it will be safer and faster.

My daughter will be connecting through JFK on May19. She arrives on Delta 3172 at 6:08PM and transfers to Delta 86 to Venice, departing at 7:45PM. I can't get any solid information from Delta, but it appears she will arrive at Terminal 2 and leave from Terminal 4. Will she have enough time? Should she use AirTrain to go between Terminals?

Normally the Venice flight departs from T2 or T3, and if so she will not need to change terminals as they are connected post-security. If she does have to go to T4 there is a shuttle at gate 15 for Delta passengers connecting to Delta departures at T4 so she will not have to deal with security at T4.

Hi, somebody knows if when I leave mi flight can I go to another terminal and then come back to the same terminal on the Air train? Does it have a fare?

Thanks.

There is no charge for traveling between terminals on AirTrain. You only pay if you enter or leave the AirTrain system at either Jamaica station or Howard Beach station. (You can even ride to and from those stations for free, as long as you do not pass through the turnstiles.)
