I am driving a limousine town car from Boston to JFK tonight, May 28, to meet passengers from Terminal 7 flying on Cathay Pacific. Where do I meet this passenger and where do I leave my livery car?

Hello, is the Long-Term JFK Airport Parking the same as SmartPark JFK? Also, is there a way to reserve a spot online for Long-Term JFK Airport Parking? In your experience, which one is better? (Have read some nasty stories about SmartPark on Yelp.com) Thanks!

No, not the same. Long Term parking is on airport grounds and you can access the AirTrain to travel to/from all terminals. No need to reserve, there are always spots available. Smart Park has a shuttle bus but is not very reliable. Use Long Term.

Thanks a bunch for that information. Is there a GPS address available for JFK Long Term Parking or is following directions the only way to get there?

Ned gps address

Try intersection of Pan Am Rd. and Lefferts Blvd.

Yes, just follow the signs as you approach the airport area. LT parking is located near Lefferts Blvd.

I use Smart Park whenever I go to JFK, they're rates are about $5/day cheaper than JFK's airport parking - and though it needs a shuttle (that they provide) its much closer to the airport. I prefer the convenience of Smart Park, I dont know why anyone would say that its unreliable, I've never had an issue. Also - they TAKE reservations - they dont REQUIRE reservations. This is a good thing - I wish airports can take reservations, instead you show up and the lot is full and you cant do anything about it. I have no affiliation, I'm just a satisfied customer - so I recommend the service.

Does the long term lot at JFK ever get filled to capacity? I'm looking to park there this Friday afternoon, which is the start of Memorial Day Weekend. With the usually higher traveler volume, will the long-term lot get filled - or is it safe to assume there will be spaces on Friday afternoon? Thank you.

I have parked there during Christmas, Thanksgiving, and a few other Holidays and have never had a problem. If you have never been there the lot is probably the size of 30 or more football fields. The only other advice I could give you is if your going to park in the long term lot give your self ample time (like 1-1/2 hours min before the flight is scheduled to leave). It takes a good 30 minutes to get to your terminal by the airtran if it is a long haul like jet blue. Have safe travels I might be parked right next to you.

why don't you list the exact address for the JFK official long term parking lot so i can put it into my GPS - all it says is Lefferts Blvd.

If your one the Van Dyke it is the exit for JFK, However you cant miss the signs to get there. It will look like you are going the wrong way but if the air train appears on your right side for about a mile your doing good. When you cant go any more take a left, and then a quick right, now your in the lot. Best of Luck, Joe.

Is the 18$/day rate measured per 24 hour day or per calendar day? For example - If I park in the lot tonight at 8pm and return at 8pm Sunday night this is 3 - 24 hour periods, i.e. 3 x $18 = $54. Or do they count this as 4 days since I came in on a Thurs and left on a Sunday?

The off site parking lots (not associated with jfk) all seem to count days as calendar days so for the example above they are quoting me as 4 days. It seems like the JFK lot might actually work out cheaper if they count hours.

Anyone know?

It's $18 up to 24 hours, then $6 for each 8 hour period over the first 24 hours. So if you park for 1.5 days it's $18 for the first 24 hours and then $12 for the .5 day.

If i need to park at JFK for ten days, what is my most reasonable option? Are there both onsite and offsite long term parking options and what are the cons of the offsite parking lots?

Thanks!
