Cheapest is to take the Airtrain to Jamaica Station and get on the LIRR heading westbound to Penn Station (in Manhattan).

Fastest would be to get a Taxi or car service.

Cheapest: ride AirTrain for free to Terminal 4. Then, Q-10 or Q-10 Limited bus ($2.25) to "A" or "E" subway ($2.50 for Single Ride ticket, or $2.25 with a pay-per-ride Metrocard). If you are able to purchase a Metrocard at a JFK news kiosk, you will get a free transfer from bus to subway.

Depending on time of day, fastest might be a taxi (about $60 with tip and toll), or AirTrain ($5.00) to Jamaica Station, and then Long Island Rail Road (price varies depending on day of week/time of day) to Manhattan's Penn Station.

Does anyone know how one would go about applying for jobs past the security gate, such as the restaurants 5ivesteak and such? they have no website and i obviously cant go there asking for an application. thanks for your help!

You need to find out the name of the companies/franchises that run each food concession and apply with them.

My brother is coming from India in Jet airways on his way to Austin, Texas. First he is coming from Chennai to JFK at 12.15 PM and taking connecting AA flight to Austin, Texas at 3.15 PM.

My question is that is he collecting his luggage from Jet airways and go through customs and security and then go to AA departure lounge at the same terminal 8 or airline itself will transfer his luggage to AA?

Secondly, can he come out of the terminal before he board his connection flight to Austin at 3.15 PM? Thanks

Hello everyone. I am flying from LAX to Buenos Aires Argentina on 23 July. My flight AA4 arrives at 8:55 pm in JFK. My connecting flight (AA955) to Buenos Aires is at 10:00 pm.
I am not a US citizen and those are two separate flight.
Is 1 hour enough to get through the customs, check my bags in, get my boarding pass and make ti to the other flight?
Do I need to getting through the customs and check my bags again in JFK or the bags goes directly from LAX to Buenos Aires?

Since California and New York are both within the U.S., you will not go through Customs or Immigration at JFK. When you check in for AA4 at LAX, the agent will probably verify your travel documents to make sure that you are eligible to be admitted to Argentina. You should be able to check your bags all the way through from LAX to EZE, so you will not have to leave the secure area at JFK before boarding your flight to EZE.

Hello!
We will arrive from Miami with Delta Airlines to terminal 3 at 15.20. Our next flight is to stockholm, Sweden at 19.05, also with delta and from terminal 3. Is that enough time between arrival and departure time or does we need more. We have separate tickets for the travel.

Yes. Plenty of time for a connection.

Kind regards

Hello:

I have a long layover on 14th August at JFK arriving on JetBlue at 12:30pm and departing on Iberia at 9:00pm.

Is your internet access free?

What is there to do at the airport in these terminal areas to help pass the time? Thanks, J.
