We were on Flight 161 from Milano and our daughter lost her security blanket, it has a lot of sentimental value to us, it was the blanket we brought her home in when she was born, she has been devastated all day. Its a small blanket approx. 2.5 x 2.5 feet, and is multi colour bright stripes with a small snow man figure in the one corner.

Hi, I was just on flight EK 203 from Dubai to JFK on July 18th at 2:15 A.M. I can't find my camera and I believe when I put my carry-on backpack on the plane, the camera slipped from the side pocket and was in the above, over-head compartment. If anyone believes they had found it, please contact me at 860-218-3220, there will be a good reward, thank-you so much. It is a small, silver, Samsung camera.

On July 10, outside Terminal 1 around 4pm, I lost a small blue backpack. Probably left on the sidewalk outside the terminal when I left the ETS shuttle. The backpack is a string type with the printing "Believe". It contained our medications and a camera (DX6440).

I lost my passport today, 16/07', probably inside de taxi, coming from JFK to Hotel Sofitel New York, where I am. Please, if somone found it, call the hotel or send me an e-mail.

I lost a small navy blue canvas wallet after getting off a United flight. In it is a California drivers license, a SFMOMA ID card and a University of Georgia ID card.

Is anyone getting a message from a random person claiming to have found your lost item? And the number comes from +254701471574 ? Please comment if you can relate.

Hello,

I received a text message from this number by a person name Casty Sistok ,claiming a blackberry had been found and was handed to a lady by the name of Jane Ngigii - email address janengigi54@yahoo.com , janengigi@ma.co.ke . As you see, 2 email accounts were given to contact her, one was a personal account and the other seemed more official. However, the more official address didn't work.

I have been searching online and it seems the phone number +254701471574 was the number to contact Jane. This is strange that Casty Sistok contacted me from this number as well. This is a cell number and Jane should have something more official for business working at the airport. To note, on another forum on JFK someone mentioned the email address janengu_kq@yahoo.com for contact. I think someone appears to be 'working together' to wedge people out of some money.

I have been in contact with "Jane" about this matter and it seems the description of my phone matches, but they need more details of my phone. However, claim they cannot power the phone on. However, they are willing to ship it for $131 or $181 from Kenya to Canada through Western Union. This is a scam I think because this morning Jane misspelled her surname when she signed the signature of her email.

Anyone can access the item description and contact information when you submit something which was lost. I think this was the case here. Good luck to you.

I too received an email from castysistok@yahoo.com about a lost luggage she found that could be mine, and she said she left the luggage at a Kenya airport with Jane, email address janengigi54@yahoo.com , and janengigi@mbsairpor.co.ke. I wrote to both, and the company looking one bounced back too.

I lost a very important black bag (roughly 7"x5"x9"). It has two black sippers and one handle on the end of it. Most likely had a green metal (rock climbing) hook on the handle.
Flying June 28th from SF to JFK on Delta flight DL30.
