Terminal 4 Facts and Figures
The $1.4 billion T4 opened in May 2001. It is the cornerstone of a $10.3 billion revitalization program currently underway at JFK.
T4 is a model for air terminal technology for the 21st century.
T4 has signed agreements with approximately 50 airlines representing 40 countries, serving U.S. and overseas destinations around the world.
T4 occupies 165 acres, one of the largest properties of any terminal at JFK and is one of the largest air terminals in North America.
T4 was designed with the infrastructure to process between 10 million - 12 million passengers annually.
T4 operates the only facility at JFK's with 24 hour Customs and Border Protection, 365 days per year.
T4 houses the only internal station for AirTrain, JFK's light rail system connecting all JFK terminals, Long Term parking, Car rental and hotel locations, The NYC subway at Howard Beach and the LIRR at Jamaica Station.
T4 is home to 4 religious chapels- Catholic, Protestant, Jewish and Multi-faith, each with a dedicated Chaplain.

My wife and little daughter
My wife and little daughter are arriving at JFK, terminal 4 by Air India which should reach at 6:00 AM. I'll be coming by car to pick them up. Where I should be parking my car so that I can take the baggages to car easily. As my wife travelling alone with small kid, is there any way so that I can reach to baggage claim area and can help out my wife to get the luggage?

I arrive this Friday at 4pm at JFK and my boyfriend plans to pick me up. My questions are:
1. How much time will it approx. take me to go through customs (I'm an EU citizen) and pick up my bags?
2. What would be the most convenient way for him to pick me up? I fly Polish LOT Airlines and my bf will pick me up by car but I don't want him wait too long, get stuck in traffic or pay a whole day fee for parking...

Tight connection to Milan
Hello, I'm landing in terminal 4 from a Virgin America flight at 3:35 PM on August 6th. From there I am taking a completely different flight to Milan on Swiss International Airlines at 5:50 PM. This is not a layover stop on the same trip, they are separate flights. I need to check a small bag for Swiss Int'l Airlines, pick up my ticket and then pass through security again. I realize this is extremely tight and I booked it without thinking it through too well, obviously. Any tips to avoid delays along the way? Much thanks.

Im canadian citizen, im arriving tomorrow from toronto to jfk o AA flight at terminal 8 at 0340pm, next im departing on LAN from terminal 4 to chile at 0800pm , i need to pick up the luggage and check it through Customs and then recheck on terminal 4? i need to know exactly how i do to go from terminal 8 to terminal 4 in airtrain, hope u can help me quickly please.

Hi, I'm flying by Air India in to JFK terminal 4 on 23rd July @0600hrs and my flight to Tampa is @1955 from terminal 8.
1. How do I connect to terminal 8 from terminal 4?
2. I've around 14 hrs of layover, can I leave the airport and go around for some sight seeing, can you suggest something?
3. Can I deposit my luggage during my wait @ JFK, how much would it cost and where can i deposit my bags.
How to reach terminal 5
Hi,
My husband is travelling from India to Tampa by Emirates airlines. He has to catch Jet Blue Airlines from terminal 5. Which terminal shall the immigration and customs be? Does he has to carry the bags from terminal 4 to 5 and are the terminals connected to be walkable or he has to take the Airtrain from Track2. Please help.
