Hi, I'm scheduled to arrive at JFK, T4, via BW at 1.59pm to connect to my next flight, AI, for India which leaves at 4.35pm from T4. What am I required to do or check through, given the fact that I'll be switching flights in the same terminal and the baggage will be tagged straight through? And is there enough time to do so?

You have enough time. You will need to go through passport control.

I urgently need the fax number to South African Airways baggage department at JFK in order to file for loss baggage claim. I was given the following fax number (718) 751 4980 but I doesn't work!

Try calling South African Airways.

I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I'll be flying on LAN's flight LA 533 on Thursday night at 8:00pm with my dog, and I have a couple questions.

1) Is terminal 4 the right terminal for this flight?

2) It might be raining or thunderstorming that night. Does anyone know if my dog will be kept out of the rain, while he's being transported from the terminal, into the cargo hold? Do they put plastic or something over dog crates?

3) It also might be around 80 degrees. And I'm wondering, will he be in air conditioning while he's being transported?

I've never done this before, and I know some airlines won't accept dogs at this time of year, so I just want to make sure he won't be sitting on a hot runway. Or left in the rain. Thanks!

1.Yes it is.
2. He should be and they should keep him safe.
3. They will do their best to provide him comfort he deserves.

Hello, I fly tomorrow with 3 small children
august 12th with delta (DL 4129)from
Raleigh RDA and arrive at JFK at 14.59. I then fly to Barcelona at 18.00 with DL 94.
When I bought the tickets, I landed and departed from terminal 3.
When I checked yesterday delta online, I now land at terminal 2 and leave from terminal 3.
I got an email today from Delta messenger. I land at terminal 2 and leave from terminal 4.
Which one is correct?
If I land at terminal 2 and leave from terminal 4, do we have time to catch the flight? Is there a shuttle? Security?
Thank you
Maria

in case my mother needs to call me and her dell phone does not work in the states, can you help provide the following information:

1. can you confirm that there are pay phones in terminal 4, and where they are.

2. do the phones take coins, or do I need to get her a phone card

3. the kind of phones they are so I can do a search for the number of quarters she'll need, or the kind of phone card it would accept for a regional call - unless you also have these details.

thank you very much,
maria

1. Yes they have pay phones at terminal 4 at the arrivals hall by the Welcome Center.
2. They do take both.
3. They are regular phones for quarters you can make both domestic and international phone calls.

My son aditya is arriving JFK at 07.55hrs by emirates airlines at terminal 4. he has connecting flight jet blue at terminal 5 at 11.29hrs. please advice whether he has enough time to clear imigration, baggage check and reach Terminal 5.
regards,
prasad

Yes plenty of time to make a connection.

he will have plenty of time, it only take about an hour to clear imigration and get his baggage. From there he can take the airtrain to terminal 5
