JFK Airport Parking Information
You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:
Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.
Parking rates
$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours
Daily JFK Airport Parking
Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9
Parking rates
$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period

No, the colored lots are all short term. Long term parking is all outdoor and located at Lefferts Blvd.

Is Lefferts Blvd in the airport? If not, how do I get there travelling from East Long Island (Belt Parkway?)
Lefferts Blvd runs south
Lefferts Blvd runs south into airport property. From westbound Belt Pkwy exit onto N. Conduit Ave, pass the exit for the Van Wyck, turn left on Lefferts Blvd to long term parking. Or take the airport exit off the Belt and follow signs to long term parking.

We're flying Air France to Paris the evening of 10/5. What lot should we park in and will there be a problem finding a spot?

Picking up visitors
Family of three parents and one child are visiting from Turkey. Coming through Turkish airlines, bI see that Ter 1 is their arrival terminal with Turkish airlines. their arrival is set to be at 2:45PM. It is my very first time coming to JFK where exactly should I aprt ar the green parking area and how many hours I need what is the best way of paying less parking cost and what is exactly cost of parking . Area D at Terminal 3, closest parking lot is the Green parking lot right across the street from area D.
my car and the hurricane
My car has been in the green area of parking since 8-12. I am stranded in Europe due to the storm and will not be able to get there until at least Monday or Tuesday.
Will my car be ok? Will they move the cars due to the hurricane?

I'm plannig to park in LT parking from Sat Aug 27 for a week. Should I worry about flooding in theparking lot due to hurrican Irene??. I don't want to come back to a flooded car.

Charged twice
I left my car for around 2 weeks and I was charged 270 twice. Will they give me my money back? Why was I charged twice?
