Go to Penn Station from JFK and take Megabus or Boltbus to Washington, DC, fare is around $25. Then transfer to Greyhound terminal and take bus to Richmond. You can also take a Greyhound bus from Port Authority Bus Terminal to Richmond. There is also Amtrak train from Penn Station that stops in Richmond but it is much more expensive than bus.

Hi!

I will be going with a relative to NYC,so could you please give me some advice about the best way to get from JFK airport to East 77th St. on a Friday Night (our plane will arrive at 9 pm.) Thanks!

Thanks for your advice!

NYC yellow Taxi available at Ground Transportation is most direct and cost is $45+tolls+tip. Cheapest is by Airtrain/subway $7.25; take Airtrain on track 1 from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway to Lexington/53rd St, transfer to Bronx-bound #6 subway to 77th St/Lexington Ave.

Hello, I am arriving at 4pm at JFK on Sunday 13 November and need to go to Andaz Hotel on Wall Street (75 Wall Street). Can you advise which is the best way to get there?
Thank you

Best and most direct is by taxi, about $60. Cheapest is by AirTrain/subway $7.25: take AirTrain on track 1 from terminal to Howard Beach Station, transfer to inbound A subway to Fulton St, transfer to Brooklyn-bound #2 or #3 subway one stop to Wall St.

I will arrive at JFK airport T4 at 14.15 hrs on Oct 11, 2011. I need to go to Kendall square, MIT near Boston immediately from there. What would be the best option? Is there a good bus service? Thanks

Boltbus or Megabus depart from 9th Ave/32nd St, one block from Penn Station, to Boston just about every hour and will take you to Boston-South Station. From there you can take the "T" red line subway towards Alewife to Kendall Sq. To get to Penn Station from JFK you can take taxi-around $60, NYAirports bus-$15 or take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station ($5) and then either LIRR ($6.75) or E subway ($2.25) to Penn Station. You can also take Amtrak train from Penn Station to Boston-South Station but much more expensive than bus.

We're planninglanning to fly into JFK airport and we need to meet some friends at Newark airport. Does anyone have any tips as to which would be the best way to travel? It'd be a saturday lunch time. Taxi/Train/Bus? Costs? Time it normally takes?

Thanks for any help in advance!

Olympic Limo (State Shuttle) has service between airports for around $30. Travel time around 90 minutes. Inquire online or at Welcome Center for schedules. Taxi is around $90.

Hello everybody,
I need some help. I'm arriving at JFK Airport and need to go to Nyma, the New York Manhattan Hotel. Can you tell me the best and cheaper way to do it?

Thank you very much.

Cheapest is by subway or LIRR; take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station ($5), transfer to E subway ($2.25) or LIRR ($8.75 peak/$6.25 off peak) to Penn Station, walk south to 32nd St and then east to the hotel. If you take the subway you can also transfer from the E to the F subway anywhere between Kew Gardens and Jackson Hgts, get off at 34th St/Herald Sq and you'll have a shorter walk to the hotel.

Thanks a lot
