I am flying with BA0117 into JFK from London 21st Oct with my 2 children and looking to get a connecting flight to DC with American Airlines from Terminal 8. How do I get from terminal 7 to terminal 8 and how long should I allow to clear customs and check in for AA3843? Thank you

I'm tranferring from US Airways flight at Terminal 7 to A Finnair flight at Terminal 8, will I have to undergo another security screening? Also, is 2.5 hours between my arrival and departure enough time to take care of everything.Will my luggage will be automatically transferred? This is my first time to JFK so forgive the trivial questions.My thanks to you all.

1. Yes, anytime you transfer terminals you will need to go through security screening.
2. 2.5 hours should be enough time.
3. Ask USAir if your bags will be checked through to final destination, if not you will need to re-check with Finnair at JFK.

Hi,

I am scheduled to arrive on CX888 (HKG-YVR-JFK) at 06:10am and am wondering if there is sufficient time for me to catch a domestic connection (Jet Blue) at ETD 08:20am. Can you kindly advise? I presume that I will need to clear immigration and customs upon arriving on CX888 and then to check-in for the domestic connection.

You should be OK with your time frame. You will clear both immigration and customs and it will take you up to one hour to all that and yes then check for your second flight.

Hi there,

I'm arriving on CX888 from Vancouver, Canada on Fri at 7am and have a connecting flight on Jet Blue Flt.4 to Buffalo at 9.29am at Terminal 5. Do I have enough time to pick up my bags and make the connection ?

My friend's flight is BA 112, will leave 0n Aug 30th 18:40pm.
