Depends on where in North Bergen but in general terms:
Jamaica Station to MTA trains (N/R) to 42nd stop
From there either walk to Port Authority,
then take a bus 154, 156, 158 or 159 to North Bergen
or
take a short cab ride to the ferry (especially if you have a lot of luggage),
then ferry to port imperial,
then take a light rail to North Bergen

JFK to Hotel Newton subway route
I realize that the LIRR may be the faster route between JFK and the Hotel Newton located across the street from the 96th St station. What would be the simplest and easiest way to take the subway there without taking the LIRR once we reach the Jamaica station on the AirTrain?

Take the E subway from Jamaica to 50th St, transfer to the uptown C subway one stop to 59th St, transfer to the uptown #2 or #3 subway to 96th St/Broadway. If you take LIRR to Penn Station you can transfer to the #2 or #3 subway there.
jfk to the verve hotel long island
Hi,
Im wondering if anyone can me, we are flying to JFK airport in december for new years and travelling to the verve hotel in long island, we want to take the cheapest option so we believe its the train. can any one tell me the the route to take and which way i need to head at my last stop.
Also we are looking at time square area for new years, how much and how easy will it be to get a taxi back to out hotel early hours of the morning.
