Terminal 4 Facts and Figures
The $1.4 billion T4 opened in May 2001. It is the cornerstone of a $10.3 billion revitalization program currently underway at JFK.
T4 is a model for air terminal technology for the 21st century.
T4 has signed agreements with approximately 50 airlines representing 40 countries, serving U.S. and overseas destinations around the world.
T4 occupies 165 acres, one of the largest properties of any terminal at JFK and is one of the largest air terminals in North America.
T4 was designed with the infrastructure to process between 10 million - 12 million passengers annually.
T4 operates the only facility at JFK's with 24 hour Customs and Border Protection, 365 days per year.
T4 houses the only internal station for AirTrain, JFK's light rail system connecting all JFK terminals, Long Term parking, Car rental and hotel locations, The NYC subway at Howard Beach and the LIRR at Jamaica Station.
T4 is home to 4 religious chapels- Catholic, Protestant, Jewish and Multi-faith, each with a dedicated Chaplain.

I have my flight from
I have my flight from Jacksonville to India through JFK. My JetBlue flight from Jacksonville reaches JFK terminal 4 at 9:20 PM. My connecting flight to Dubai through Emirates is at 11:00 PM from Terminal 5.
Is the transit time of 1 hour 40 minute sufficient to transfer the baggage?
What's the minimum time required to transfer the baggage from JetBlue to Emirates flight?

Can anybody tell me what is the number of Emirates check in counter?
I am travelling next week to India with 3 kids.( 2 under 2)
So I would like to be there early and get the bassinets.
Which airline is using the same counter before Emirates check in starts? I will be at the airport around 4 pm but my flight is only at 11 pm.
If I know the counter number , I can just wait there even if it is checking in for a different carrier.
Pls help....We really need the bassinets?

Hello i'm from El Salvador and my Grandmother Maria Amelia Hercules flew from El Salvador to N.Y. in flight number TA 570 on 01/12/2012 i looked up for information and the flight got delayed but she is not at home yet. I have dialed to her house and have no answer also tried to dial 800 535-8780 from here (El Salvador) and doesn't work.
I need to know if she's ok or something happened. I feed up the form on line of Avianca when we were making the check in on line and leave my house number if something come up but no one have called...

c) you will pass immigration and customs at Terminal 4; you may need to re-check bags with Delta at terminal 3. I'm not sure.

Hi, my friend come first time to New York and will arrive ate terminal 4 and she wants to know how far is the immigration aerea from the babagge aerea?? Is far way? She can get lost? And how far is form the bagagge aerea to the customs? Thanks..This information will be very helpful for her.
From the gate you will
From the gate you will proceed directly to the immigration counter to show passport, I-94 and other related documents and then to the baggage area and then through customs. She may have a bit of a walk from the gate to customs/immigration but after that everything is close.
