Arriving in May with British Airways. Is assistance available for those who cannot walk long distances or stand for long periods?

I am going from JFK to Pelham parkway, jacobi hospital exactly, I know toll tax $7 will be added, but last experience they said fare increased charged me $60, please tell me what should I pay, because meter is not on to comments on fare, I have to trust taxi driver, is there anyway to get prepaid fair or to avoid getting duped by taxi driver? How much is the fare and how can I argue about it, is there any guideline or meterchart to show fare?

I am travelling to Canada and will be going through the US. If I get to JFK will all the immigration stuff what terminals will I use to get my lugguage and also to get to board to Halifax
thank you

Hello, I will be coming to NY for a couple of days before I leave for an overseas trip. I am not sure if I will have a bag I want to leave. If I do can I just walk or do you need a reservation and are the prices above correct. I will be using terminal 4. Thank you!

Dear specialist,
On 01 August my 15-year old daughter (Russian) is arriving JFK with AA 1772 from Miami at 4:55 pm, Terminal 8. The interconnecting flight Aeroflot SU 103 to Moscow departs 7:00 pm, Terminal 1.
• Is this enough time (about 2 hours) for change.
• Does she have to get her luggage, clear customs, change terminals, check in again. Is it possible to check in her luggage in Miami to be passed through NY to Moscow.

Thanks in advance

1. Yes she has enough time to connect with 2 hour time window.
2. She doesnt have to clear customs or immigration since shes leaving the U.S. Yes it is possible for you to do that just ask AA in Miami. She will change terminals from T8 on track 2 to T1 and clear security there.

Hi, I will be flying American Airlines from boston to JFK arriving at 11:40 am. Then I will have to catch a fly from JFK to Seoul, Korea via Asiana Airlines at 1:pm. That leaves me 1 hour and 20 minutes connection time from Terminal 8 to Terminal 4. Do you think I will have enough time?

Thank you so much!

You should be OK as long as your first flight is on time even though you are looking at a tight connection.

Hi Specialist

I am arriving on a jet blue flight from DC, I then have a 9 hour lay over until my flight back to Ireland from terminal 4. Can I leave the airport to go into the city during this time or do I have stay in the airport? Can I leave my luggage in a locker in the airport? Thank you for your help.

Yes 9 hours is plenty of time to visit NYC or you can stay at the airport at Terminal 4 which is open 24/7.

Dear Specialist,
I have a American Airlines flight from DC arriving at 7:10am and an Aeromexico flight set to depart at 9:00am. Is there enough time to de-board in Terminal 1, get our boarding passes (not checking luggage), and get through security at Terminal 8 in that amount of time?

Thanks specialist!

-N

Yes.

Dear specialist,
On 20.May I will arrive JFK with AA 8074L from Berlin at 15:45, Terminal 8.
The interconnecting flight AA 1061 to Chicago departs 17:20 Terminal 3. Then it goes further on to Minneapolis.
(a1) Is the time slot 15:45 Term 8 to 17:20 Term 3 feasible?
(a2) Shall I change/update my booking?
(b) Will my luggage be passed through to Chicago and Minnesota?

Thank you very much endeed for your patience to answer all these questions ever and ever again.
Greetings from Dresden, Germany
K. Gitter

1. Yes you should have time to connect.
2. You may if you wish; please remember that 2 to 3 hours between the flights is considered comfortable.
3. You will pick at JFK to clear customs and then you will recheck it for flight to Chicago and Minnesota. AA should clip all the way through.

Dear Specialist, we are a family of 5 travelling from MSP to NYC on Delta 3034 operated by Comair in Sept.4, 2012 (arrival time 3.20 pm) and will go on on Air Berlin AB 7249 leaving at 5.30 pm.
Can you please tell me at which Terminal Comair is going to land and Air Berlin (I believe it is Terminal 8)is going to leave. How do we get to T8 and is 2 hours layover enough time to get around (pick up bags from Comair, go to T8 and check-in for Air Berlin? Can we check in bags for Air Berlin directly at the terminal where Comair is going to land?) Thanks very much.
