Getting to T 7
Not an experienced traveler. Arriving by Jet Blue at 5:45pm on Fri ( 5/18) checking a bag. How do I get from bag claim to airport transportation to T 7 for a 8:40pm dept on Iceland Air? Is the air train the best way to get to T 7? About how long will it take to get to T 7? Do I have enough time time to do all this?

You have plenty of time to connect with 3 hour time window between the flights. From T5 take any train on track 2 to T7. Air train is the best transportation between the terminals with only 2 minute trip.

Thank for for your help. By any train does that mean there are train on this track running in both directions?
Air train on track 2 only
Air train on track 2 only will take you through airport terminals versus air train on track 1 will take you to Federal Circle and Jamaica Station in other words outside the airport.Any train on track 2 only for you to stay at the airport.

Its impossible to walk between 5 and 7 you can only take an air train on track 2.

Getting from Terminal 5 to 7
Arv into Terminal 5 (JetBlue) at 5:45pm 5/18 and Dept. Terminal 7(Icelandair) at 8:40 pm. First ?. from checked bag in Terminal 5 where is airport transportation to Terminal 7. Second ? How long wil it take to get from Terminal 5 to 7? First time traveler and nervous. Will I have enough time to get checked bag, transfer to different terminal, check-in and do everything needed to make out going flight?

I have the same dilemma and am a bit nervous about it myself. Arriving in Terminal 5, Leaving from Terminal 7. Need to go though customs, re-check bag, and get to my flight with an hour and a half layover....is this enough time. NERVOUS. PLEASE HELP !!

I am flying with JetBlue from Fort Lauderdale--> T5 JFK airport.
Do I need go through an immigration check at T5 (I am not US citizen) or can I directly go to pick up my luggage?

hi i will be arriving at JFK
hi i will be arriving at JFK by emirates fly at terminal 4 and then have to transit to terminal 4 for a domestic fly by Jet blue .Lay over time is 1 hr 40 min . I will have to go through immigration and customs and collect my luggage and checkin at terminal 5 for jet blue . Please let me know if the time is sufficient and how to transit from term 5 to term 4 as quickly as possible

You should be OK with that time frame. Take any train on track 2 from T5 to T4.

Arriving JFK with Aer Lingus
I will be arriving at terminal 4, having already cleared US customs and immigration in Dublin before flying. I am then flying from terminal 5 with Jet Blue, a code share partner with Aer Lingus and assume my luggage will be checked through with no need to reclaim in terminal 4?

i will be arriving at jfk on BA at about 11:00 AM on terminal 7.I have to then fly to pittsburgh at about 2:50 AM from terminal 8 which gives me 3 hours 50 minutes at hand.Would I be able to make this connection?
