You can take the Airtrain to Jamaica, it should not take too long. I did double check the train schedule and found that the train is at 12:28pm from Jamaica to Valley Stream and if you miss that one there is a 1:28am to Valley Stream with a Transfer to Malverne for wednesday 10/22/08.
you can double check http://mta.info and double check the schedule as well.

Hope this helps

I need to get to Bowery St. in SoHo from JFK. In looking at the map, it looks like I should take the Air Train to Howard Beach, catch the A train to Broadway Junction, switch to the J train all the way to the Bowery stop.

Does that make sense? Any idea how long that will take?

lee-- this site saves my life, and i live in nyc for 2 years now: www.hopstop.com. click on nyc. punch in your starting point (jfk) and your destination, and it will tell you exactly what subway train(s) you will have to take, and the approximate time it takes. good luck!

My sister is arriving at Terminal 4 and has 3 hours to clear customs and get her baggage and then get to terminal 7 for her departure to the west coast. Is this enough time and how can she get from T4 to T7.
Thanks

Can some one help me out as to how to go to JFK air port from White Plains, NY. This is my first time with lot of luggage to carry (2 big bags, 1 cabin n one laptop case).

I see I can take the Airtrain, but to which station and then which subway to get to 44th & Broadway in Manhattan. What is your estimate in time? I guess it depends at which terminal I board. but what would the time be from the station?
