take the air train... newark to penn station, then penn station, to JFK...it's the easiest way to do it. There's some transferring at different spots, but it will beat taking a taxi.

From EWR you can take the Air train and NJ transit to Newark Penn Station. From Newark Penn, You can take the Path train from Newark to WTC (22min) then take the A-Line to Howard Beach (Queens bound to Far Rockaway) about an hour. Then take the Airtrain from Howard Beach to JFK whichever terminal you need to get to. This route will take 100-115 minutes, and cost less than $15.00. But if you're unfamiliar with the transit system, then it might be confusing, otherwise you might have to Cab it from EWR to JFK which will cost ~$100

what is the cheapest way to get to terminal #1 from getting off an A line subway at Howard Beach Station? How much do I need to pay?(transfer, airtrain, etc) BTW, is the A-line trip from Penn Station to Howard Beach non-transfer? Thank you.

At Howard Beach you can take the air train to Terminal 1. The cost is 5 dollars.

Is there a baby equipment rental place in JFK airport preferably in the Jet Blue terminal?

We are flying from Florida to the UK via JFK and have 6 hours to kill - any ideas/tips/suggestions - Has anyone any idea if there are restrictions on passengers in transit? thank you

My wife is 1h 20m late leaving Detroit to fly into JFK because of alleged bad weather in New York. This web site indicates that the weather is fine and that delays are 15 minutes or less. This web site has been reporting that information all day, even though gate attendants in Detroit are saying the weather at JFK is delaying flights by one to two hours. Is this web site updated often?

can my dof travel before i do? and if so how much is it?

I am taking an international flight from Terminal 4. I have 5 hours between domestic arrival and international departure.
Are there any sight-seeing places near the airport? How do I spend the time?

If you have 5 hours, you can go into Manhattan if your flight is on time. You'll have an hour or so to walk around midtown. Take the airtrain to the Long Island Railroad, which will send you express to midtown Manhattan. Total cost 10 - 12 dollars each way, depending on time of day, and total travel time each way is about 45 minutes. If your time window is tighter, stay at the airport. Take the free airtrain to Terminal 4 (main international terminal) where there are plenty of shops before security. This terminal is very interesting because many middle eastern and other exotic airlines use T4. You'll see some very interesting costumes! Have fun

the only thing you can do is walk around in the terminal.
The sites are pretty far like about 1 hour or so away, only thing near the airport is long island and brooklyn which are 10 min away.

On Wednesday, Dec. 24, I will have 1 hour to go from a flight from DC to JFK (domestic) to a flight from JFK to Ukraine (international). I've never flown through JFK before. Should I be worried about making the flight, in case there any delays (considering it's just before Christmas) with my flight to JFK, or within JFK itself?

you might have a chance to make the connection. If your flight from dc departs at the right time, u will have about 20- 30 min to make ur connection. Ussually during the holiday season is packed especially terminal 4. You have a higher chance of making ur flight then missing it. Just make sure you get to the right terminal on time, as dis would be one way for missing ur flight. If u are arriving in the same terminal, you will most definitly make ur flight! good luck.

I am traveling into JFK this weekend and looking for the 'cheapest/safest' transportaion from this airport to the Newark Airport. Please let me know if anyone has info. reagrding that! THANKS

There is an aiport transfer shuttle which runs between all three airports. Contact the ground transportation once you get there.
