Why don't you just check your lugguge through to your final destination?

Hi,
I am flying into JFK and will need to get to Grand Central - what is the cheapest, fastest, easiest way to get there? I assume the LIRR will be used?
Thanks

From JFK to Grand central there is s direct bus service.
this is easy and costs 15 USD one way. (Go outside of terminal and look for big blue busses at this moment they carry advertising for Jetblue)

Cheapest way : take airtrain to Jamaica station, (5 USD)
than take E line of the New York subway. (2USD)go to times square than transfer to the shuttle to Grand Central terminal.
transfers are free.

Very easy : Taxi now 45 USD + tolls and tip

hello we fly via JFK and we have some hours stay there. I would like to know if there is an apple store inside the airport? Or a store where I can buy an Apple Ipod? Thank you Tim

Hi,

My wife and two kids are require porter / baggage assistance from Terminal 5 (JetBlue) to Terminal 4 (Emirates) - 1900hrs on Friday.

Can anybody advice how to get this sorted ?

Many thanks and regards,
Adnan

I am cominh with my family together with large amount of baggage. Is the a possibility to get assistance carrying with it from the Baggage Claim area?

I think if JFK would make their website like San Diego airports, it would be a lot better. SD has one page you can go to and get all the delays and flight info. Granted, I'm sure it's like comparing apples and oranges with the volume of traffic in and out of both airports, but it's a place to start!

Taxi Stand and Passengar pick up for Jet Blue. Hi, while i love the new terminal 5, i am extremely dissapointed in the taxi stand / passengar pick up area. It appears that barely any progress was made in making it more of an efficient process. One of my main concerns is that they "Gypsy" taxi drivers (the ones that hussle people to skip the taxi line and ride in their town cars) are a major problem. Regardless of whether it is legal or illegal to solicit people while waiting in line, they park their cars and get out in the pick up area. This is against airport rules and on top of that makes it very uncomfortable for passengars waiting in the Taxi line as they are bombarded with aggressive solicitation. it makes the people waiting in the taxi line very uncomfortable. Why are they allowed to get out of their cars in the waitinig area and do this? I find this causes a major bottleneck, as it clogs multiple lanes, and prevents all lanes from flowing with traffic.

I think this e-mail that I got is fraud. Could someone please verify? It reads as follows:

um, yeah, it's a fraud. Seriously, are you that obtuse? So the Federal Reserve is in charge of your lost luggage now??? And of course you put your email address on all the trunks that you had in Africa. Seriously, you might want to go back to 1st grade and start all over.

Yes. Very much a fraud. Don't even email them to reply, and certainly don't give them any information about yourself.

I think you should contact JFK but I think you are right. Might be that they want to have your home address since you are not home - easy to break in to your house. But that is what I think.
To be sure you can contact JFK and ask them if they have someone working overthere with that name, if they dont they will be happy to hear that someone is pretending to be an officer, maybe they can do something about it.

Leave's me with one question; how do they know your
e-mailaddress?

regards,
Petra

My wife is first time flying from India to Rochester. She has a connecting flight from JFK to Rochester. How can she get help to change the flight. Is there any possibility of airline staff helping or accompanying her to the next terminal. She is traveling with an infant. Any answer.

Did the flight 1362 of AA from O hare arrive yet?

I am arriving in JFK on December 31st at 1 :30am and I am staying at Hilton Newark Penn Station in Newark , New Jersey. I would like to know if there is any shuttle that I can take to get to the hotel and how much would cost aproximately a taxi to there.
Thanks,

Silvia
