I will be arriving at JFK airport on Saturday. What is the best and safest way to get from JFK to the Lodi, NJ area. I am looking to take the trans/bus service...something more affordable than a limo/cab service.

I am coming to New York by Air India and leave for Atlanta by Delta. i want to know about the transit from one terminal to another terminal. please let me know about the details of transit i.e. how i can go i.e. by walk or else. please let me know if there is any other way to transit from one terminal i.e. 4 to 3 and how much i have to pay.

Hello. I am trying to figure out how to get from JFK to the LIRR that leads to Mineola. Does anyone know the best way to do this? I will be arriving at about 12am, so I need to make sure the services are up and running. Thanks.

You can check that at maps.google.com
You select DIRECTIONS and type from jfk airport to the address of your hotel. You can select the way you travel: car or public transit, and even the hours you are going to make the trip.

How can I go from the airport to New Jersey (sheraton on the Hudson)?

how long does it take on the air tran to get from terminal 3 to terminal 5/6?

My friend will be flying in to JFK on March 12th of this year at around 9 o'clock 9;30 in the evening, I was wondering if anyone could suggest the best route/way for her to get from the airport to the train station (amtrak) and then to New London. Thank you, if you could email me some type of a plan that would be very helpful, but if not....I will check back on here. Thank you again.

What train rt should i take going to (210 west 55th street),and how long will it take?

Hey,
My flight lands at JFK at 1.50pm, and I want to take a bus to Boston from Port Authority. Can someone please tell me what the fastest way to get to Port Authority from JFK will be. Also, if I take a bus at 6pm, will that be enough time for me to get to Port Authority, or should I go for the 7.30pm one? Thanks!

Fastest is taxi. Flat fare of $45 + tolls (about $6) + tip (approx 10%+).

Also good is New York Airport Service Express Bus, $15. Should take about 75 minutes. The bus to Port Authority stops first at Grand Central Terminal. Leaves every 20 or 30 minutes.

Should be no problem to make 6:00 bus.

Air Train Question: Can I get on any train for free to go from terminal 3 to terminal 4? I don't have to do the "all terminals" loop which would take me all the way around, do I? Can I take any of them just to go from 3 to 4?

Hi,

My parents are coming from India to Terminal 4 and they have to catch a domestic flight at Terminal 8. Is it necessary to carry all their check in and cabin luggage along with them from t-4 to t-8? or is there any facility to transport their check in baggage from t-4 to t-8 and also please let me know the easiest way to reach t-8.

Thanks,
Venkat.

They have to collect their baggages from JFK. If they have connecting flight from JFK, as soon as they gets out from immigration & baggage, there is a seperate counter for connecting flight (domestic). They can show their ticket to them and they'll take care of the baggage from that point. If they don't have a connecting flight, they have to take all their baggage to particular terminal for check-in
