Does AirTrain have hours limitations? Do they stop running at any certain hour? We are arriving late on a Saturday night and want to make sure we are able to get to our car when we get back.

Nope. Runs all night. Its pretty easy, just remember where you parked!

Could anyone please tell me the street address of the entrance to the Long Term Parking Lot at JFK and a rough estimate how long it would take me to make it to say terminal 5 frm the parking lot? Thanks in advance for sharing the information.

My complaint: It was very difficult to locate jfk long term parking info on your site. I kept getting Avistar parking on your site and an attorney advertising his services (Edward Jenks, former ADA)

Does the airtrain run on any kind of schedule from the long term parking lot? If so does anyone know the time schedule. I am leaving On jet blue at 6 am, and want to have plenty of time for security check and parking

thanks Joe

The AirTrain schedule is on this brochure:

I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes. You can usually park closer to the Howard Beach station (northwestern side of the lot), compared to the Long Term Parking Lot station, if you prefer a shorter walk.

This is ridiculous $18 per day, for a week will be more than i paid for my roundtrip flight. I can't believe this, to pay more for parking than for roundtrip flight?

aliuta, you are right. I was paying $18 or so at Avistar. Never again. Use a place called SmartPark JFK. There rate is only $12.

don't bothe parking there. take the LIRR to jamaica, get off the train, hang a left and follow the signs to airtrain. it's $5 each way. it's easy, convenient and inexpensive. i love it.

Who wants to hike? Trains, trekking, all this to catch a flight.

ok..yes, i totally get the "wow, can't believe they are charging $18/day for longterm parking!" but...if you really look at the breakdown...its 18 for the first 24 hrs and then 6 every 12 hrs after...so its really only 12/day which is better than some of the other places that include tax and have to drive u in traffic to the terminal. The JFK longterm pking is soooooo much easier and you can use ezpass to pay at the end. hope this helps!

Definitely use the Long Term Parking at JFK and avoid all the schlack and risk of having your vehicle vandalized, damaged for a lousy couple of dollars. Do the right thing and have piece of mind. Imagine returning from a vacation or a business trip and discover your vehicle was messed up....fugeddaboudit.

Why are you lying? It is $18 per day, and is the most expensive parking within all other JFK parking lots. The other private parking lots is not any harder to get in and out then JFK's parking lot.
People be aware, JFK long term parking lot charges $18 per day. For a week, Sunday to Sunday I paid $138.

If you look again you'll $18/day after that $6 for every 8 hours, so is coming up to $18 which is the same like the first day. 8x3=24 (6x3=18) I don't know where did you come up with $6 for every 12 hours?

Ohh, ok, than I do apologies for my remark. I was getting it that is $18 every day. Thank you for the info, I was planing to use one of those parking companies, but good thing i checked back here and thank you for posting this message, now I will park my car at JFK long term parking.
Thanks again!
