How long does it take from Jamaica Station to JFK

I need to get from JFK Airport to Stamford.
I know there are trains to Stamford from Grand Central Station - is this a good choice?
What would be the best way to get from JFK to Grand Central station?
Thank you very much in advance

Yes. Metro North from Grand Central to Stamford would be the only/cheapest way, other than Connecticut Limo (800 472 LIMO) or a taxi.

Besides a taxi or Limo is there any public or shuttle transportation from JFK to anywhwere around Kensington, CT?

Any advice on the JFK to Grand Central stretch of the journey?

Hi. Your best bet would be an airport shuttle to the Grand Hyatt hotel, which is right next to Grand Central. I don't know the cost, but it shouldn't be more than $25.00. Good luck.

Do you know how long it takes to get from terminal 4 to 8 by the airbus.

Hi,

I am reaching JFK NYC on Monday morning at 6:45 AM by Delta Airlines. I need to go Stamford, CT. What are the alternate ways to go there? How much will it cost?

Thanks!

Hi,
On Friday the 30th of November, I am going to arrive at JFK T8 at 8.10pm (American Airlines flight) and need to to go to JFK T1 for taking the 11pm flight to Paris. How long does it take to go from T8 to T1 ? Will I have enough time to take my international flight at JFK T1 ? I have the possibility to take a plane for Paris on Saturday.
Many thanks.

Give yourself about an hour to get from T8/9 to T1. It's a long walk from your gate in T8 to the train that takes you around to the different terminals. The train makes a loop and takes you to long term parking and then comes back to the terminals. 8/9 are the last stops. T1 is the first stop after long term parking.

Safe trip.

We arrive on 11/24/07 at around 19:00 (VIRGIN AIRLINES) and want to use the Train - Subway- Bus to the hotel can anyone please give directions and which to use and if at all possible the cost.

We also want to get a 7 day metro card can you use this for all forms of transport can we purchase it within the airport and again the cost.

Many thanks to anyone who may take the time to reply.

A 7 day unlimited pass costs $24 per person, and works on all subway/bus.
