I lost a gold chain with a large oval shaped gold locket flying from LA to JFK and JFK to Madrid 1/5/2010 on American Airlines. Locket has an inscription on the back that reads "If ever two were one" and a date. Inside is a photo of my father on one side and 5 children on the other. Please contact me if found. This belonged to my mother and is very special.

Passing through terminal 8 last night (24 Jan 2010) I left a brown leather flight jacket (Sporty's Pilot Shop size 42). I think I might have left it in the food court.
After 16 years, that jacket is like an old friend - so I'm offering a reward. Please call at 610.662.3415.
Thanks.

I was seated in seat 25D on Delta flight #86 from MIA to JFK on Sunday evening (1/24/10) and left a New Era "U" of Miami fitted hat (size 7 1/2) in the seat back pocket of the chair in front of me. The hat was a gift and means a great deal to me. I would be forever grateful to anyone who turns it in to the JFK Delta lost and found services. Thanks!

My mom was traveling from Boston to Russia. It was 2 stops trip: Boston-NYC with Delta, and NYC-Moscow with Aeroflot (Russian Airlines). We checked in her 2 bags and were told that she will get them in Moscow, which was so much easier for her! Eventually, she got only one bag, which was twice lighter. It's been a week by now (since 1/13/10) and she still has not gotten any responds. What company should I complain to?

Hi there,
I'm a reporter with Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism in New York City, and I'm looking into airlines that have been irresponsible or careless with passengers' luggage. It seems their policies are designed so that it's hard for passengers to get an update about their luggage situation.
I'm wondering where you are based, and if you'd be interested in telling me more about your situation? It could help bring attention to the issue.
My number is 626.616.5131 and my email is ac3086@columbia.edu.
Please let me know as soon as you can! The story is set to air this Thursday.
