Has anyone had any luck with getting a call back from the AA lost and found dept? Or do they not call back? Has the forum helped anyone retrieve a lost item?

I lost a lumix camera in terminal 4 on Wednesday 24th March in the evening. Possibly in the chaos of the security check. Can someone contact me if they have it or if there is a valid number I can call? I tried the main airport number 244 4444 but that just directs you back to your airline.
The phone numbers listed are incorrect - someone should change them!

Hi,

I lost my wallet on the delta terminal right after security screening (perhaps on the belt) on 3/11. It was a black leather wallet. My wallet contained driving license, social security card and all credit cards and as such it is critical to me...

My flight departed at 7:05pm (DL 73) and I tried since then to call numerous times (718-917-3999) and left VMs but was not able to reach anyone.

Appreciate your help. My cell is 310-429-7955

I lost a Blackberry cell phone(Sprint)on flight #150, seat#25B from Orlando FL. to JFK today, 3-23-10, arriving 12:00 noon. It can be checked to varify it is mine by turning it on and checking voice mail. There is no password. One of the messages should be from my wife asking you to leave a message on our home phone

Hi I am a Malaysian student returning from LAX to JFK on flight AA118 on 3/22/10. I am very sure that I left my passports in the seat pocket of 37B.

If any of you were on flights:

a) 3/22/10 5.15 p.m. AA181 JFK - LAX Seat 37B or
b) 3/22/10 11.55 p.m. AA30 LAX - JFK Seat 37B

and have seen a clear plastic folder containing two red color Malaysian Passports and some immigration forms, please please contact me at

I left a black bag with one man's suit, and two blue dress shirts in it, on March 21st, in terminal three. My flight arrived around 2pm in the afternoon.

A silver watch and a wide silver bangle were left in the the security check in area. These items were left in the bin after going through security. I was on flight 145 that departed on 3/20/10.

I was flying from JFK about a week ago and lost my iPod and my SunGlasses. Ist there any way to get in to contact with the JFK personal via email? Because I'm from Germany and lost both items during my holidays and will not be able to call the lost and found crew in the next time. How can I contact lost and found via email?

As neither the hotel nor the Golden Touch bus company can give me a positive answer, possibly I've lost my keys at Terminal 1 somewhere round security check???

day when lost: march17, about 5:30-6:00pm on the way to Austrian Flight OS88 to VIE.

It's a bunch of keys, 3 rings stuffed with at least 9 keys, 1 car key OPEL, 2 pendants (I *heart* U, orange and red, selfmade, 1 green plastic bottle "Presidente"- pendant)

If someone has found it, pls post it here or contact me, I'd appreciate it!

i cant get to the American airlines lost and found i think the phone number in the site is worng do you have another phone number

My mother just arrived from Tokyo by JAL 006 and was hassled by the customer inspection officer- had to open all her luggages, and due to all this stress, she left behind one of her bags which included an important china set from my family ancestors. I called the lost and found service at Terminal 1, along with the airline, but they claim that they cannot find the bag. I assume that this has been stolen. I pray that whoever has this bag to kindly submit it to the lost and found at Terminal 1. It is bad karma, if this has been stolen.

On Wed, March 17th at curbside check in at JetBlue gate, my wife left my daughter's Pink Backpack. Her name 'Allyson' is on it, as well as our last name on items in the backpack.
We were told once we were on the plane that security had taken it into their possession being an unattended item was left. Not sure if JFK security or Jetblue has the item. Please help! We will be back in NY on Sunday, but can have someone pick it up today once it's located.
