And what about the custom?
And what about the custom? My baggage will be checked in to the last destination, Atlanta. I just will have to give to the custom authorities my custom declaration? Or I could simply go through green corridor if there is nothing to declare?
Thanks.
Thank you JFK_E. I thought
Thank you JFK_E. I thought that for example US citizens and first time arrived immigrants have to go to different places and get different processing. If it's the same place, OK, I just will have to hurry.
re: US citizens and first time arriving immigrants have to go to
There is a different procedure for US green card holders entering US first time. You will be held longer(it could be up to 3 hours) until immigration officers clear the formalities. Saying that, I think two hours will NOT be enough for you to transfer.
Even the bags are checked through the last destination(ATL) you still have to pick them up in order to proceed through customs. Then you can recheck them in again(either at connecting flights counter or regular check-in counter)

I will arrive at Terminal 1 with international fligth (Alitalia) at 2PM and I should take a Delta flight to Las Vegas at 4.30PM. Is 2 hours and a half enough to take the baggage, go through the customs for immigration, check in and drop the baggage again for the domestic flight?
Thank you!
re: I will arrive at T1 with international fligth (Alitalia)
You should be OK with any time period that is greater than 2 hours.

You should be fine with any time span that is greater than 2 hours.
