Hi
I am arriving on Wed 31st March on American Airlines from London Heathrow at 19:45. I am then connecting on an American Eagle flight to go to Washington DC at 22:35. Which airtrain should I be taking?
Also after I have cleared customers, is there a chance to meet people from New York - ie is there a visitors area without me having to leave the airport?

Thanks for your help.

You do NOT need to take Airtrain. American Airlines and American Eagle are located in the same terminal - Terminal 8. Once you clear customs you are at arrivals area at T8(first floor) where you can meet your friends from New York. After that just proceed to the third floor and go through security to the departing gate for Washington DC flight.

Hello,

I am arriving from SVO (Moscow) to terminal 1 by Aeroflot. Then in about two hours I have a flight to SFO by Delta. How do I get to the terminal where Delta is based? Do I have to clear customs and claim my luggage or do I simply pass through the transit zone without any luggage? I am interested whether it will be transferred automatically.

Thanks

You have to clear immigration, pick up you check-in bags, go through customs and then you have a choice:
- either have your bags transfered at Aeroflot connecting flights counter onto your next flight,
- or take your bags to Delta terminal and recheck them in there.
Delta is located next building - Terminal 2. Easiest way is to walk. Once you exit Terminal 1 walk to your right and you will be there in 5 minutes.
Two hours is enough for you to transfer.

I'm arriving to T7 on Iberia from Madrid...I have only 2 hrs to transfer from T7 to T8 to catch an AA flight. I know I have to clear customs and all that. I also know 2hrs is pretty tight. Which is the fastest way you recommend me to do this transfer?

Take Airtrain across the street on track 1 for one stop to T8.
You can always take a yellow cab to terminal 8 - it will give you 5-10 min advantage(if there is no long taxi line).

We are arriving international into Terminal 8 and leaving same Terminal, but have long layover. Can I get to Terminal 4 easily to access a club lounge?

Take Airtrain on track 2 for three stops and you will be at Terminal 4. It takes no more than 5 min.

Take Airtrain on track 2 for 3 stops. It will take you no more than 5 min.

Hello

I am arriving from LAS to JFK on Jetblue (Assume this is T5) at 7:42pm and need to meet a connecting flight with American Airlines (T8?) to LHR (london) which leaves at 11:40pm

Questions are. Do i need to clear customs with my baggage and proceed to T8 for the AA flight to LHR or do the bags move through some kind of internal flow and if I do need to wait for them and transfer them myself to T8 for the AA flight to London will I have enough time to do this?

Many Thanks

Yes, you are arriving at T5 and connecting at T8. You do NOT clear customs when you arrive domestic. The bags more likely will be transfered automatically onto your next AA flight(double check that with Jet Blue in LAS). In case this will not happen, you still have time to collect them at T5 and check them in at T8.

Hi - am flying out on AA at T8 Saturday at 7:30 AM and want to take advantage of the lounge area through one of my travel clubs. Since we need to get there very early as our seats were lost during some sort of glitch (tickets bought 10/09), we know we will have a long wait. Where is a lounge? Many thanks.

There are two locations - both beyond security check point.
See this link for exact locations, times of operations, phone numbers etc.
