I will be arriving from Singapore with SQ26 arriving at JFK on 10.55am. I have a connection to Dulles with United UA 7012 departing at 14.19pm. I have one checked luggage from Singapore.
- will I need to get my checked luggage from SQ and check it again with United?
- how do I get to terminal 7 from terminal 4? And do I have enough time between connecting flights?
Thank you for your assistance.

To answer your first question - yes, you will need to pick up your bag in order to pass US customs. You can recheck it at SQ Connecting flights counter at T4(or take it with you and check it in at United).
You will take ANY Airtrain on ANY track/side on the third floor from T4 to T7.
You have time to transfer between the flights.

I will be arriving at terminal 3 at 7:30 pm on a Friday on a domestic Delta flight, and need to catch an international Delta flight that departs from terminal 2 50 minutes later. I see from a previous posting that there is a maximium 10 minute walk between these terminals. I will not need to claim baggage. Will I need to pass through security and passport control to get from terminal 3 to terminal 2? Is it realistic to make this connection?
Thanks.

You do not need to go through security again. At the gate Delta agent might ask you to show your passport(along with your boarding pass). Fifty minutes is plenty of time to transfer in your case.Ten minutes is the time to walk the distance between the two furthest points of those terminals. It could be as little as 2 min.

I am considering booking a flight on Delta to Pisa, Italy that originates in Philadelphia, PA (Phila - JFK - Pisa). The flight from Phila. to JFK (Delta 6382) is on a Canadian Regional Jet operated by Comair dba Delta Connection. There is only a 1 hour 45 minute layover before the flight (Delta 136) departs from JFK for Pisa, Italy. What terminal will the Canadian Regional Jet arrive in and what terminal does the Delta flight to Italy depart from? Is 1 hour 45 minutes sufficient time to make the connection? Do I need to go through security again or is the trip from the arriving to the departing terminal within the same secured area and is it walkable? Thanks.

Your flight fro PHI will arrive either at T2 or T3. And the departing flight to Pisa will be from either one of the those two terminals. In either case you should be OK since those two terminals are connected behind security. From T3 to T2 is only 10 min walk(maximum).
Your time is plenty to do that.

Is there a way to change terminals for a connection (by the terminal AirTrain loop or walking) without having to go through security? I am booking tix, and thinking about flying in on JBU and out on AAL, with only 40 mins between.

There is no way to do that. The Airtrain route is outside security.
Only if you book the same airline(so you don't have to change terminals) you will avoid going through security again.

I will take a Delta flight from LAX to JFK, then a Finnair flight to VNO. The time between the 2 flights is only 2 hours. Is it enough time for me to go from terminal 3 to 8? How? Please give me detailed info so that I am prepared. How long will it take? Can I have my bag checked all the way to the final destination from LAX?

Two hours will be enough. Ask Delta at LAX to check all your bags all the way through VNO. Once you arrive at T3, look for Airtrain station(which is across the street) and take ANY train on ANY track/side to Terminal 8. It takes only couple of minutes to get there.

I will arrive JFK on an AA (American Eagle). I am flying to London on Virgin Atlantic. They are not connecting flights. May I arrange for baggage transfer or do I need to collect my baggage manually and move it?

Check with AA before you depart on your domestic flight but I am 99% sure you have to collect your bags and move them to VS check-in counter.

Hello,
I will get to JFK Terminal 7 on thursday.
My parents will get to Terminal 1.
Is the International Arrivals hall common to hall terminals o I willhave to go to Terminal 1 in order to get them?
Thanks for your advice
Marco

Hello Marco,
Terminal 7 and Terminal 1 are two different buildings. You have to take Airtrain on track 2 from Terminal 7 to Terminal 1.

I'm arriving on a redeye Wed morning. Would the AirTrain be the fastest way to get to Grand Central Station?

If so, how do I get from JFK to GCT and vice versa?
