Thank you!

Hi, I've a flight from yyz to JFK (AA4510) on Jul 15 arriving at 12:05pm, departing from JFK to Moscow (SVO, Aeroflot Flight 314) at 2:20pm. What are the terminal changes, how long would it take? Do I have enough time?

You do have time to make the connection. You will be arriving at Terminal 8. Take Airtrain on the second floor, on track 2 to Terminal 1. It will take you no more than 15-20 minutes from Terminal 8 to Terminal 1.

I will be flying into JFK on April 24th from Rome and then I am supposed to continue on to Chicago and then back to Philadelphia. I want to be picked up at New York and Want to know how to get my luggage and what terminal I will be at and if this is possible. I will be on flight 235 with American Airlines. Can I get my luggage and where do I have my family pick me up? thanks in advance for all your help.

You will be arriving at Terminal 8.
As soon as you pass the immigration you will see the baggage carousels and that is where you pick up your bags. Your family can meet you on the first floor at Terminal 8, international arrivals area. You will see them right after you pass customs with your bags.

Hi, I am arriving at T4 at 1500 from Doha. Having the next flight to Baltimore at T3 at 1840. Read all the comments posted and understand to take a train from T4 to T3 only takes about 10 min. Another note mentioned do not leave the terminal as it takes longer to clear security. Does that mean I should stay within the terminal and still could be able to take a train from T4 to T3? Do I have enough time to check into the next flight in T3 to Baltimore with merely 3 1/2 hours? Thks

You do have plenty of time to transfer.
Terminal 4 and Terminal 3 are not connected(unlike T3 and T2) so you have to use Airtrain to go to T3. Which means you have to clear security again at T3(Airtrain does not move passengers behind security).

I'm due to fly into JFK with Delta from Fort Lauderdale at 15:37 on 11th August(unsure which Terminal - is it 3)? Then flying with Virgin to London Heathrow at 19:30 from T4.
Do we have plenty of time to move between terminals and presumably we have to re check-in our bags?

Delta from FLL may fly you in either at T2 or T3.
You have more than enough time to make the connection.

Hi

I would like to take my kids today to see the plains going up & down, is there an observation deck at jfk? And where?
Thank you
Jacob

There is no designated place at JFK as "observation desk".
There are two spots where the kids will enjoy the view of the planes:
1. Terminal 1 , 3rd floor, food court. You can sit at the table and enjoy the view behind a huge glass.
2. Terminal 5, connector/walkway between the terminal and the Airtrain Station. It gives you good view of one of the runways at JFK.

There are other places but they are behind security at various JFK Terminals.

I will be arriving at Terminal 4 at 15:00 on Thursday on a Qatar Airlines Flight from Doha.

I am then taking a Jet Blue flight at 17:00 from Terminal 5.

Can you advise on the best way to get to T5,

Regards,

Philip

Hi Philip,
The best way is to take Airtrain on the third floor , on track 1 for one stop to Terminal 5.

Hi JFK airport
I'll be travelling via New York JFK bwteen Dublin and Sydney. Couple of questions:
1. Do I have to collect my luggage when I landed JFK or I can ask airlines at Dublin to through check my bags to Sydney?
2. How do I get between JFK terminal 4 and 7?
Thanks
Stephanie

1.It is better to ask the airline in Dublin if they can check through all your bags and in this case if you have to pick then up at JFK.
2. Use Airtrain on ANY track/side to get to terminal 7. The Airtrain station is located on the third floor at Terminal 4.
