This is my first time flying
This is my first time flying out of country and since I am flying to JFK from Chicago (T8 AA) and then to Spain (T7 Iberia), how does customs work in this case as well as luggage?

You luggage should be automatically transfered onto the next flight but still double check that with AA in Chicago. You do not go through customs when you leave US(only when you enter US). You will go through security check at T7 as you enter the gate area.

Enough time between flights?
If someone is scheduled to arrive on Delta 172 at 3:35 pm from Tokyo on a Tuesday in May, will they arrive at terminal 3?
Also, will they have time to a) get luggage b) go through customs c) change terminals d) catch a 6:30 flight to Boston?
Does this Delta direct flight from Tokyo periodically run late? If so how late?

Delta 172 arrives at Terminal 3.
Almost 3 hours time frame is plenty to catch connecting flight(hope the person is not green card holder entering US first time, which may delay the procedures in immigration).
I am not aware that flight being late om permanent basis.

50 minute transfer flight to los angeles
hello! I am flying on the 3rd of may... my flight is arriving at 7:40 pm from Dublin and I have my next flight at 8:29 pm... is that enough time to transfer and not miss the plane??? thank you very much.

It is VERY tight(not to say impossible) to catch ANY flight. You have to clear customs, immigration and that can take you up to 30-40 min and it will be too late to catch next flight.

lost coat
I forgot a Nike black coat at terminal 7 Gate A11. I was taking the flight to Washington at 7:11PM last Monday 5th.
I´ve been calling to the lost & found number of terminal 7 but nobody answers.
Please how can I do to know if it has been found? Thanks
Transfer between terminals
Hi there,
My wife is arriving to JFK terminal 7, on Friday the 9th at 10 am and I'm arriving to the same airport, but on terminal 3 at 13:00 on the same day. She is flying business from Buenos Aires via Washington DC using United Airlines. I have two questions that I would like you to help me with.
Is there any United Airlines lounge for international arrives at Terminal 7 that she could use?
What is the best way and place to meet on the JFK airport, having in mind that I would like to get a cab to Manhatan after my arrival?

There is UA lounge at T7 on the second floor. You can go and meet her there and then take a cab in front of the terminal(1st floor).
Use Airtrain on any track/side to go from T3 to T7.

My boyfriend is traveling
My boyfriend is traveling from Orlando to Dubai with a 2hr20min layover in JFK. Will he be able to come out of security to see me and will he have enough time or should I even bother trying to see him in between flights?

He has to change the terminals so you will be able to see him. Which airline he is flying on from Orlando?

He's flying Delta from Orlando and then Emirates to Dubai.

You can wait for him at either T2 or T3(depends where the flight from Orlando is coming at) and then see him off at T4.
