Well, taxi is the fastest way and convenient also. You have to be at the airport at least 2 hours prior to your departure flight. Taxi ride from Manhattan to JFK takes no more than 45 min. So around 6 am is OK to leave the city.
Yellow cabs is easy to find in the city even in the early hours, but if you want to play it on the safe side - prearrange a private car(the price difference is very little, in some cases is even cheaper).

Hi,

Does a shuttle at JFK make drop offs in Jersey City? The drop off point is near exchange place along the water.

Thank You.

None of the shuttles leaving JFK(and going into that direction) drop off at Jersey City.

Hi there,
I'm arriving to JFK airport on May 17th at 10:34 and would need a ride to the address below:
43 Meadowview Drive Phillipsburg, New Jersey 08865
Can I have a quote for this service please....

As per http://nyc.taxiwiz.com/ :
"That cab ride would cost about $181.40. That is roughly $209 with a 15% tip. It is about 85.7 miles."
That is an estimate.

There is a bus called Trans-Bridge Lines that will take you right to Phillipsburg, New Jersey. The bus leaves in front of Terminal 4 at JFK. Check http://www.transbridgelines.com/sched_ny.htm
for details.

Hi
We (a group of 3 adults)will be arriving on tuesday at 7:36am JFK Intl and have to catch a flight to SFO on Thursday at 10:00am from JFK.
Can you please advice which is the best mode of transport for both the times. How long does the taxi take during these times. We do not want to waste time on the public transport.
Thanks
Suman

I guess you want to go to the city(Manhattan) on Tuesday and come back on Thursday. Shuttle for three people make little sense since it will cost you as much as a taxi(flat$45+$5.50toll).
Traffic at 7:36 am in the morning could be very hectic.
At 10:00am traffic is not that bad.

Which will be the better option to get to JFK airport from Somerset NJ ?

There is no direct connection , but if you can get to New Brunswick, there is a shuttle from there to JFK. The name of it is State Shuttle - 1(800)427-3207.

I was looking to find Taxi fare for one person from JFK to Stamford. I understand there are shared vans from JFK to stamford. Is it better to book it online before hand or take one after arriving at at the airport?

You can either take a taxi(yellow cab) fro the taxi stand in front of each terminal or book a shared van at Ground Transportation(Welcome Center) counter(located in each terminal).
Use http://nyc.taxiwiz.com/ to find out an estimate yellow cab fare.
Shared van service costs around $60.00 per passenger.

GREAT SERVICE! HELLO! My inquiry is about the approximate time the ride will be in a taxi from JFK to TIMES SQUARE? THANK YOU!

It depends on the traffic conditions and it is between 40-50 min.

Hi,

we are coming to Manhatten on April 22nd. We are 4 persons and each of us has one piece of luggage. Is it possible to take on cab from JFK to a Manhattan hotel?

regards
Markus

Hi Markus,
Yes, it is possible to get a cab. Just go in front of the terminal an look for the yellow taxi stand. An uniformed dispatcher will assist you taking a cab. The yellow cab ride to any point in Manhattan costs flat fare of $45 plus $5.00 bridge toll plus $0.50 surcharge. This price is for the whole taxi(NOT per passenger).
